Installation

Notes: This product can support the following weight: 44 lb. (20 kg). The following installation instructions are for square mounting holes.

1. Locate a suitable location in the rack or cabinet to mount the shelf.
   Note: The shelf itself requires 1U of space within the rack or cabinet.
2. Install the M6 Cage Nuts x 4 (included) into the square mounting holes on the front posts of the rack.
3. Place the shelf into the rack and align the Mounting Holes on the Front Brackets with the M6 Cage Nuts.
4. Use the provided M6-12 Screws x 4 and the M6 Plastic Cup Washers to secure the shelf to the rack.
5. Make sure that the M6-12 Screws are properly tightened and the shelf doesn’t move before you put anything on the shelf.

Installation

Connect the Computers

1. Connect the built-in Computer 1 DisplayPort Connector to the DisplayPort Port on Computer 1.
2. Connect the built-in Computer 1 USB-A Connector to the USB-A Port on Computer 1.
3. (Optional) Connect the built-in Computer 1 Stereo Audio Connector (green) to the 3.5mm Stereo Audio Port on Computer 1.
4. (Optional) Connect the built-in Computer 1 Microphone Audio Connector (pink) to the 3.5m Microphone Audio Port on Computer 1.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to install Computer 2.

Connect the Console

1. Connect the USB-A Devices (Keyboard, Mouse, or USB Peripherals) to the USB-A Ports on the KVM Switch using the built-in Keyboard and Mouse USB Cables or USB-A Cables (sold separately).
2. (Optional) Connect a 3.5 mm Audio Cable from the Stereo Speakers or Headphones to the Speaker Audio Port (pink) on the KVM Switch.
3. (Optional) Connect a 3.5 mm Audio Cable from the Microphone to the Microphone Audio Port (pink) on the KVM Switch

Hotkey Reference Guide

• Windows® Keyboard: To switch Computers the hotkey combination is Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock
• Mac Keyboard (or a Windows Keyboard with no Scroll Lock): Use the Included Software to define the new hotkey sequence.

Note: Each hotkey sequence keystroke should be pressed within two seconds.
