Odyssey Gizmo The smart puppy

Meet Gizmo, the Smart Puppy! Before you get started read below for a quick orientation on Gizmo’s features.

GIZMO’S BASIC OPERATIONS

POWER SWITCH
Turn the power button to “ON” or switch to “OFF”.

CHARGING
Micro-USB charging takes approximately one hour for a full charge. The indicator light is red when charging, and it is green when full. Don’t try to operate Gizmo whilst charging. Do not charge for more than one hour.

STANDBY MODE
After 10 minutes of no operation, Gizmo will go into a standby state. To wake Gizmo up just tap the head.

RESET OPERATIONS
Short press Gizmo’s head to interrupt the current action. Long press Gizmo’s head to initiate Showtime mode. Don’t press Gizmo’s head for too long otherwise, Gizmo will cry.

TOUCH-SENSITIVE CHIN
Gizmo has a sensitive chin. He would appreciate an affectionate pet from you, his owner. Scratch the area to get a tender reaction from him.

TOUCH-SENSITIVE HIP
Gizmo has a sensitive hip. He would appreciate a friendly pat-down from you, his owner. Pat the area to get a happy reaction from him.

INFRARED NOSE SENSOR
When you give Gizmo the spoken command “protect me” Gizmo’s nose sensor will activate and detect anything in front of it. Gizmo will bark and protect you like a real dog.

LOW POWER ALARM
Gizmo’s AI will make an announcement to let you know when the power is low. Gizmo’s eyes will also show low battery icons. Charge Gizmo up as soon as you can!

SPEECH INTERACTION: COMMAND GIZMO LIKE A REAL PUPPY

Gizmo is a great listener. Speak the following commands and Gizmo will follow with his corresponding actions. Speech interaction is only active whilst the application is closed.

* Tip 1. Gizmo can only understand what you say whilst he is still. He can only accept new commands once he finishes the actions of a previous command.
* Tip 2. If Gizmo is unable to get back on his wheels, don’t force him. Turn Gizmo off, put him back upright and turn him back on. Gizmo will automatically adjust his body back to normal.
* Tip 3. If Gizmo doesn’t recognize your voice command, try short pressing his head to reset Gizmo’s commands.
* Tip 4. Gizmo can only accept voice commands when the app is shut down. If you have the app open, Gizmo cannot hear you.

APP MODE: CONTROL WITH YOUR SMART DEVICE

To download Gizmo’s app, scan the QR code below. Apple and Android users can also search for “Gizmo Puppy” in the App Store and Google Play.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION

After Gizmo is switched on, open the Bluetooth settings on your smart device, search for Gizmo’s Bluetooth signal “GizmoPuppy_XXX” and connect. Gizmo’s AI will announce “Bluetooth connection successful.” You may now open and operate the app.

If you have problems connecting to Gizmo, turn him off and back on. Try to connect again.

GIZMO’S HOME SCREEN

PROGRAM YOUR OWN DANCE

Use the programming feature of the app to arrange a dance for Gizmo. There are 3 pre-programmed music tracks for your choosing.

(1) Play/Pause Dance
(2) Delete Dance Move
(3) Save Dance
(4) Select Dance Move
(5) Arrange Dance Moves
(6) Load Saved Dance
(7) Select Music Track

FEED AND NURTURE GIZMO

Use the feeding feature of the app to adopt Gizmo and look after him by feeding him different foods.

(1) Click to Adopt Gizmo
(2) Description of Gizmo’s foods.
(3) Gizmo’s Pantry of Foods.
Press to select Gizmo’s Food, and drag it to Gizmo’s icon to feed him. Slide to the left or right to see more food.

WALK AND COMMAND GIZMO

Here are a variety of commands Gizmo can do. Use this feature to take him for a walk.

The left directional control is used to control Gizmo’s movements. The right buttons send commands to Gizmo.

WATCH GIZMO DANCE TO YOUR OWN MUSIC

Use the Music Dancing function to connect Gizmo’s speaker to your smart device. Now Gizmo will dance to any music you play on your smart device.

RHYTHM MASTER – GIZMO THE INSTRUMENT!

Choose different songs and instruments, then press play. Tap Gizmo’s hip to set the beat of the music.

SETTINGS

Use this menu to adjust Gizmo’s volume and check the battery level.

CAUTIONS & WARNINGS

• Suitable for ages 8 and up. Adult supervision is always recommended.
• This product contains small parts which are a choking hazard. Keep away from small children.
• Manufacturers and dealers disclaim all responsibility for damage caused by misuse.
• Keep hands, hair, and loose clothing away from Gizmo when he is moving around.
• Never leave Gizmo unattended when being charged.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

• Do not submerge the unit in any liquids.
• Keep the unit dry.
• Disconnect the unit and monitor from USB power sources when not in use.
• Do not place the unit near powerful, un-shielded magnets.
• Do not expose the unit to extreme hot or cold temperatures.
• Do not hit, drop, or smash the unit with extreme force.
• Do not disassemble the unit for any reason.
