Repair and maintenance to electrical components shall include initial safety checks and component inspection procedures. If a fault exists that could compromise safety, then no electrical supply shall be connected to the circuit until it is satisfactorily dealt with. If the fault cannot be corrected immediately but it is necessary to continue operation, an adequate temporary solution shall be used. This shall be reported to the owner of the equipment so all parties are advised.
Initial safety checks shall include:
− Capacitors are discharged: this shall be done in a safe manner to avoid possibility of sparking.
− No live electrical components and wiring are exposed while charging, recovering or purging the system.
− Continuity of earth bonding.
Repairs to sealed components
During repairs to sealed components, all electrical supplies shall be disconnected from the equipment being worked upon prior to any removal of sealed covers, etc.
If it is absolutely necessary to have an electrical supply to equipment during servicing, then a permanently operating form of leak detection shall be located at the most critical point to warn of a potentially hazardous situation.
Particular attention shall be paid to the following to ensure that by working on electrical components, the casing is not altered in such a way that the level of protection is affected.
This shall include damage to cables, excessive number of connections, terminals not made to original specification, damage to seals, incorrect fitting of glands, etc.
Ensure that apparatus is mounted securely.
Ensure that seals or sealing materials have not degraded such that they no longer serve the purpose of preventing the ingress of flammable atmospheres.

NOTE
Push the ventilation lever in to the closed position to maintain the best cooling performance. Pull the ventilation lever out to open the vent and draw fresh air into the room.
Airflow can be adjusted by changing the direction of the air conditioner’s louvers.
Adjusting Horizontal Airflow Direction
The horizontal airflow is adjusted by moving the levers of the vertical louvers to the left or right.
Adjusting Vertical Airflow Direction
Touch the horizontal louvers to adjust the airflow up or down.
NOTE
This air conditioner is equipped with a slinger fan. (See drawing.)
The fan’s outer ring picks up the condensed water from the base pan if the water level gets high enough. The water is then picked up by the fan and expelled through the condenser, making the air conditioner more efficient.
WARNING
Check the air filter at least twice a month to see if cleaning is necessary. Trapped particles in the filter can build up and block the airflow, reducing cooling capacity and causing an accumulation of frost on the evaporator.

The battery must be replaced by an authorized service provider. The battery should be recycled or disposed of separately of household wastes. Do not discard the battery arbitrarily. Follow the local procedure for discarding batteries. Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Do not store or transport at pressures lower than 11.6 kPa and at above 15,000 m altitude. Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type can defeat a safeguard (for example, in the case of some lithium battery types). Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result in an explosion. Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas. A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas. Do not carelessly throw away old batteries. It can cause an explosion or fire. The disposal method may vary by country and region. Dispose of it in an appropriate manner.

How to charge
Wired Charging
When the charging cable is connected, the charging status is displayed in the charging case.
NOTE: The earbuds and the charging case are charged at the same time. The charging port on the charging case cannot be used to supply power to mobile phones, etc.
Wireless Charging
Align the bottom center of the charging case with the center of the wireless charger.
NOTE: The wireless charger is not provided. HBS-FN4 does not support wireless charging. The wireless charging function may not work in some wireless chargers. Wireless charging feature charges at a slower rate due to less power being transmitted to the charging case.
UV-C LED process operates for ten minutes and begins when charging case (with earbuds) is plugged in. UV-C LED does not operate while device is charging wirelessly such as on a pad or third party wireless charging device (this only applies to HBS-FN6).
– Independent testing shows the UVnano charging case kills 99.9% of bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli) on the speaker mesh of the earbuds in ten minutes while charging. The UV-C LED function works only when the charging case is connected to the power cable.
– For best result, it is recommended that the full 10 minutes of UV-C LED operation be performed while charging.
NOTE: The status indicator light blinks slowly during the UV-C LED operation. The light will slowly illuminate on and off until the UV-C LED function is complete (10 minutes). Once completed, the indicator light will switch back to the always-on battery indicator, see “Battery Status”. HBS-FN4 does not have a UV-C LED and mood light. Performance may vary based on usage conditions.
A white product may slightly differ in the color of the UV-C LED contact area, but there is no problem with the product performance. UV-C LED does not operate while charging wirelessly.
CAUTION: Be aware that the temperature of the earbuds may rise while the UV-C LED is operating. Avoid direct eye and skin exposure to UV light. Keep out of reach of children.
