KODAK FunSaver 35mm Single Use Camera

Specifications

  • BRAND: Kodak
  • SHUTTER SPEED: 1/90s
  • APERTURE: F/9.5-10
  • FOCAL LENGTH: 31mm
  • FLASH: 4′ to 11.5

Kodak is a fun-saving camera that is very compatible and very easy to use.  These little cameras are common at weddings when guests are urged to take them up and start shooting. Kodak utilizes the 24-exposure 800’max’ kind of film, which is no longer available as a stand-alone film but provides 27 photos when loaded in a darkroom as they do when constructing the camera. If you can load the camera in the dark and don’t have to advance it to the first shot mark, you can obtain 27 photos on a roll of 24.

The shutter speed on the test device is around 1/90s. Based on other similar cameras, the estimated aperture is about F/9.5-10. It has a Plastic single meniscus type projecting an image onto curved film—via a curved film gate. the lens and focal length are 31mm, considering how little and inexpensive the lens is, the color and contrast are surprisingly extremely good.

How to use it

  • The film is already loaded
  • All you have to do now is advance it with the thumbwheel until it stops turning
  • Then look through the viewfinder and click a picture.
  • To use the flash, just press the button on the front of the camera until the red dot on top becomes red, indicating that the flash is ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Kodak FunSaver 35mm available
More information about the Kodak Fun Saver 35mm Single-Use Camera with Flash may be found here. The Kodak FunSaver has a basic plastic lens, manual film advance, and 27 exposures, much like all single-use cameras. The Kodak FunSaver comes with a built-in flash and Kodak film already loaded.
  • With Kodak FunSaver, how many photos can you take?
If you can load the camera in the dark and don’t have to advance it to the first shot point, you can obtain 27 photos on a roll of 24; but, with motorized auto loading cameras, you’ll usually only get 25. Shutter speed: the shutter speed on my test device was around 1/90s.
  • Is it possible to reuse a Kodak FunSaver?
However, because the film sensitivity is higher, ISO 800, it’s a little better for inside photography. But what really sets this camera apart is how easy it is to open it up, remove the spent film, and replace it with a fresh roll.
  • Is the Kodak camera a decent one?
Kodak’s image quality is often excellent. The biggest disadvantage of Kodak cameras has been that they lack sufficient functionality for sophisticated users (i.e.: white balance, iso setting etc…).
  • Is the Kodak film camera a decent camera?
Many photographers choose Kodak Professional Portra 400 as their primary film because of its great reliability and consistently good image quality in a variety of situations. It has a general warmth to it, as well as more subdued colors, which is why it has so many followers.
  • How long do throwaway cameras from Kodak last?
Do Disposable Cameras Have an End Date? While the camera itself does not have an expiration date, the film and flash batteries do. Film normally expires 2–3 years after the production date, but if maintained away from heat and humidity, it can last up to another five or six years.
  • Is it possible to develop film shot using a throwaway camera?
Most drugstores include a film developing area where disposable camera film may be developed. Some superstores and camera outlets will participate as well. Bring your camera into the store with you. To get your film processed, you’ll need the entire camera.
  • How long can you go without developing a film?
Most films may be kept in the fridge for up to six months before being processed without developing any faults. Kodak recommends preserving cinema film, such as Kodak Vision 3 500T, frozen after exposure and storage for no more than 6 months.
  • Is it possible to reload a disposable camera?
Even though most are “single-use,” they may be dismantled and recharged using film and a battery. You’ll need the following items to disassemble the camera: a disposable camera with exposed film.
  • What is the best place to have vintage Kodak film developed?
You may bring any sort of film to your nearest CVS Photo facility for processing, no matter what it is. 35mm film, disposable cameras, Advanced Photo System film, black and white film, 110 film, and slide film are all processed.

KODAK GOLD 200 Film / 3 pack / GB135-36-Vertical packaging

Specifications

  • BRAND: KODAK,
  • FILM FORMAT TYPE: 35mm,
  • EXPOSURES PER ROLL: 36,
  • ISO EQUIVALENT: 200,
  • PACKAGE DIMENSIONS: 5.91 x 4.02 x 1.5 inches,
  • ITEM WEIGHT: 3.2 ounces.

Kodak Gold has premium quality. In a 200-speed film, Kodak Gold Bright Sun & Flash 200 Film offers an excellent combination of colour saturation, colour accuracy, and sharpness. It is excellent for photographing in a variety of lighting situations. This film can also be exposed with filters under photo lamps (3400 K) or tungsten light (3200 K). The colour accuracy and saturation of Kodak Bright Sun & Flash Film are exceptional, as are the sharpness and resolution. It also has a wide exposure range of two to three stops underexposure to overexposure. It features excellent consistency and processing robustness when it comes to latent image preservation.

It’s one-channel printing has similar printing characteristics. It has high resolution and sharpness. It shows excellent results for general photography and excellent for enlargements. Kodak Royal Gold, Kodak Max, Kodak Professional Portra, and Kodak Professional Supra Films are all processed with the same chemicals. It is designed for both daylight and electronic flash exposure. It has scanning compatibility: Digital output systems produce high-quality results, and digital zoom and crop photographs produce excellent prints.

How to use

  • Press down on the Rewind Knob on the left side of the camera until the rear of the camera opens.
  • Cut a Leader to load your film into the Take-Up Spool. The leader must be around 22mm long to fit inside the spool.
  • Place the film on the left side of the camera. Lower the Rewind Knob after inserting the film into the pocket to ensure a snug fit.
  • Bring the director of the film to the Take-Up Spool. Insert the narrow end of the film leader into the slot. Hold the spool steady in one hand and force the film deep inside until it is entirely inside or emerges out the other side.
  • Double-check that the teeth are properly positioned on both sides of the film. Use the rewind knob to take in any slack and secure the film to the camera. Then close the back of the camera and use the film advance to wind the film.
  • Take three photos in total. If the film has been properly loaded, the rewind knob will turn every time you twist the film advance lever. If not, tighten the film to the camera once more to ensure that the slack is gone. To wipe away the exposed film and start over with new film, take at least two images. When you see the number 1 in the window, you’re ready to take pictures.
  • Now is the time to select an ISO Film Speed. Gradually raise the ISO speed ring and turn it to the ISO speed specified in the window to alter the film speed. (As a result, the numbers on the ring’s INSIDE window should spin.)
  • To set the shutter speed, rotate the shutter speed ring to the desired shutter speed. The shutter controls the length of exposure on this camera; the greater the number, the shorter the exposure time. (As a result, the numbers on the OUTSIDE of the ring should rotate.)
  • To set the aperture, turn the aperture ring to the desired aperture. The bigger the aperture number, the less light passes through to the film, and the smaller the aperture opening.
  • This camera comes with a built-in meter. When you press the shutter release button approximately a third of the way down, the meter is activated. While the meter is turned on, rotate the shutter speed dial or aperture ring until just the green o LED is lit. Your subject is too bright, as indicated by the red + LED light. To compensate, adjust the shutter speed or aperture. Your subject is too dark, as indicated by the red – LED light. Reduce the aperture or the shutter speed.
  • To set a timer, press down on the self-timer lever until it stops. To start the timer, completely depress the shutter release button when you’re ready to take the image. The snapshot will be taken in ten seconds. (The timer’s length varies based on the camera’s manufacturer and kind.)
  • When the roll of film is finished, you must rewind it into the canister. To rewind your film, press the film release button on the bottom of the camera. Fold the film rewind crank out of the way and turn it in the arrow’s direction until there is no more tension on the knob.
  • Pull the film rewind knob up until the back cover of the camera pops open. The film should now be wrapped and ready for development in the film canister.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Kodak still producing 35mm film?
Despite the fact that film consumption has declined dramatically in recent decades, Kodak continues to create enormous quantities of the film in its Rochester, New York factory.
  • What do 36 exposures imply?
The 36EXP competition is the first dedicated to roll films. You are free to take as many photos as you want and to tell about your day, your city, one of your adventures, or what you observe on the streets. You have the option of creating a report. You are free to take images that are abstract. All genres are acceptable.
  • Is Portra 160 available in 35mm?
The grain structure of Kodak Portra 160 35mm film is substantially finer, allowing for better scanning and enlargement in today’s workflow.
  • Is film with a 400-speed rating 35mm?
It features an ISO 400/27° sensitivity and is well-suited to scanning and enlargement applications. One 24-exposure roll of 35mm film is included in this package.
  • Who is responsible for 35mm film development?
Processing film is straightforward at CVS Photo. You can bring any sort of film to your nearest CVS Photo facility for processing, no matter what it is. 35mm film, disposable cameras, Advanced Photo System film, black and white film, 110 film, and slide film are all processed.
  • Is film still used by professional photographers?
Yes, film is becoming more popular in photography. Some full-frame DSLR cameras are now more expensive than antique film cameras from a bygone era. Prices for some camera models have consistently increased by 25-50 percent year over year as more people purchase up available cameras.
  • Is it possible to use a 24 exposure camera to shoot a 36 exposure roll of film?
35mm film used to be available in 12, 20, 24, and 36 exposures. All of them operate perfectly in all 35mm cameras. Those exposures are usually color-coded by most camera film counters. Whatever you do, don’t force the progress when you come to the conclusion of the roll.

FAQS

What is the difference between the Kodak PIXPRO AZ527 and the Kodak PIXPRO AZ528?

The Kodak PIXPRO AZ527 is a 16.1 MP camera with a 28mm wide angle lens. The Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 is a 16.1 MP camera with a 21mm wide angle lens.

How fast is this camera. (This is my biggest complaint about the small digitals – they are SO slow!)

It depends on what setting you have your shots on. Mines on face beautify and portrait and its slower at taking shots because of that but regular settings is faster.

will this camera record good video?

Video quality is excellent.

Want simplicity, but an upgrade to my 10yr old 8mp kodak. sharp lcd image? close-ups?.. 12″or even closer? print quality?

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 Astro Zoom Camera is a great, simple upgrade for your Kodak. The 3” LCD produces a crisp image, with 460k pixels. For close-ups, the AZ421’s macro feature works from as close as 1.6cm away from your subject. 16MP is ample for very detailed photos and enlargements. Trusty “Auto” mode, along with 12 different scene modes are easy options if you prefer shooting without having to manually adjust a lot of the settings.

Can you twist the lens to focus?

This is basically a big point-and-shoot camera with a HUGE telephoto lens, wide angle and a boatload of adjustments (shutter/aperature priority or program AE list an SLR). It has multiple focus options, but no purely manual “twist the lens” variety.

Is this camera real heavy

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 is a “bridge” camera which means it bridges the gap between a compact point and shoot model and a much larger DSLR type camera. The AZ421 weighs approximately 15.6 oz., so under 1lb, not very heavy at all for a powerful 42X zoom lens and camera.

Does this camera work with a Bluetooth remote?

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 does not have built-in Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Our AZ652 or AZ901 models have both and can use the FREE PIXPRO Remote Viewer app to control and/or upload photos from these two models to your phone or smart tablet.

what specific mode and settings do i need to use to take very close-up shots? i need to be able to see fine detail. everything ive tried is blurry?

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 has a “Macro” setting which is the preferred setting for super close up, detailed photos. To find the “Macro” setting, just look at the circular dial on the top right of the camera body (right next to the shutter button). It will be the “tulip” icon.

Is this a point and shoot camera?

Yes it is. Just a big one with a few more features. Don’t buy bridge cameras unless you really need that telephoto (zoom) lens.

How long will it take for my order to be confirmed and money taken off the card? I put the order in about 9-10 a.m. this morning and it’s now 6 p.m?

Check your amazon “Orders” tab. You can see the status of your order there.

does it record?

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 Astro Zoom Camera records 720p HD video easily with the touch of a button.

is this camera good for portrait pictures?

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 offers lots of scene and modes to take great portrait photos. In addition to dedicated “Portrait”, “Night Portrait”, there is also “Face Beautifier” mode, which smooths and softens skin tones as well as “Backlit Portrait”.
