How to Connect

First-Time Pairing:

1. Pick up both earbuds, remove the tape, then re-insert them into the case. Once again, pick them up to activate them.
2. On the device, search for JVC HA-A17T and tap to connect.
   Once paired earbuds will auto power on upon picking up from the case. If earbuds fail to auto power on, please charge them and try again.

Switch Paired Device:

1. Turn off the phone’s Bluetooth faculty and earbuds will auto disconnect and enter into pairing mode.
2. On phones, search for HA-A177 and tap to connect.
   Multi-point connection is not available. Earbuds will auto-reconnect to phone8 upon powering up again.
   

Factory Setting
(Try the following steps to fix connectivity issue)

1. On-device, delete connectivity record of HA-A17T
2. Pick up two earbuds, keep touching both bars for Ss or until LEDs glow red for 1s to power off.
3. Keep touching both bars for Los or until LEDs blink red and white 3 times then blink red to set earbuds to the factory.
   * Please refer to How to Connect after factory setting.

Manual Pairing
(Please refer to the following steps in case two earbuds lose connection)
Power off both earbuds then keeps touching the panels for Ss or until LEDs blink red and white. Double touch them and LEDs will blink red and white. LED on slave earbud will then auto turn off upon two earbuds pairing with each other.
How to Wear

1. Rotate earbud and pop it into your ear then shake your head to check wearing stability.
2. Please adjust the mic towards your mouth to gain a better calling experience.
3. When using Memory Foam Tips, squeeze the ear tips and insert them into your ear.

Choose Your Eartips
Please try medium ear tips first as they fit most people.

Mono Mode

1. Power off earbud then keep touching the bar for 5s to enter pairing mode(LED blinks red and white)
2. 0n devise, search for HA-Al 7T, and tap to connect.

Charging Earbud
Push earbud into the case to charge. LED will glow solid red when charging and turn to white for 1 minute once top-up.
Charging the Case
When the battery level is less than 30%, only left LED blinks; when between 30% and 90%, the left LED grows solid white and the right LED blinks white; When over 90%, both two LEN grow solid white.

Tips

Pairing

1. Check that the indicator is turned off.
2. Icon Power should be pressed and held until the indicator alternately and swiftly flashes red and blue several times.
   Once you’ve made sure the indicator is alternately and fast flashing red and blue, let go of your finger.
3. The Bluetooth device’s Bluetooth feature should be enabled.
4. Select “JVC HA-S31BT” from the device list.
5. The indicator flashes slowly in blue when a connection is completed.

Reconnect (Power On)

1. Verify that the indication is not still on.
2. Press and hold the Icon Power on the System till the indicator lights up in blue for one second, then turn on the Bluetooth setting of the Bluetooth device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won’t my JVC headphones pair with my Bluetooth device?
Make sure the Bluetooth device is within one metre of the system when pairing. On the Bluetooth device, turn pairing on. Reset pairing by erasing the pairing data from the Bluetooth device list. After turning the connected device’s Bluetooth feature off and back on, perform operations. How can JVC headphones tell when they are fully charged?
The earphones’ indicators will turn off after charging is finished. The earphones take around 2 hours to charge. The power of the earphones will automatically cut off once they are placed into the charging case. Why isn’t my Bluetooth working?
Go to Settings > System > Advanced> Reset Options > Reset Wi-fi, mobile, & Bluetooth on Android devices. For iOS and iPadOS devices, you’ll need to unpair every device first, then restart your phone or tablet by going to Settings > Bluetooth, selecting the info icon, then selecting Forget This Device for each device. Why are the red flashes on my JVC headphones?

JVC RC-43157 Remote Smart TV Controller

Inserting the batteries into the remote

The remote may have a screw that secures the battery compartment cover onto the remote control (or this may be in a separate bag). Then remove the battery compartment cover to reveal the battery compartment. Insert two 1.5V size AAA batteries. Make sure the (+) and (-) signs match (observing correct polarity). Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace only with same or equivalent type. Place the cover back on and refit the screw.

Remove the screw that secure the battery compartment cover on the back side of the remote control first. Lift the cover gently. Insert two 1.5V – size AAA batteries. Make sure the (+) and (-) signs match (observe correct polarity). Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace only with same or equivalent type. Place the cover back on. • Place the tip of a pen or some other pointed object in the hole above the cover and press it down.

Use the proper cable to connect two units together.
To select the desired input source, press the Source button on the remote control. Or press the centre of the control switch inwards consecutively until the Sources list is displayed.

Power
After unpacking, allow the TV set to reach the ambient room temperature before you connect the set to the mains. Plug the power cable to the mains socket outlet.
IMPORTANT: The TV set is designed to operate on a 220-240V AC, 50 Hz supply.

In order to turn the TV on from standby mode:

• Press the Standby button, a numeric button or Programme +/- button on the remote control
• Press the centre of the control switch inwards, located at the rear left hand side of the TV

Initial setup wizard

When turned on for the first time, a search for accessories will be performed before the initial setup starts. Follow the on-screen informations to pair your remote control and other wireless accessories with your TV. To pair your remote press and hold the Source button for about 5 seconds. Press Exit to end adding accessories and start the setup. After that welcome screen will be displayed. Select your language and press OK. Follow the on screen instructions to set your TV and install channels. The installation wizard will guide you through the setup process. You can perform initial setup anytime using the Reset option in the Settings>Device Preferences menu. You can access the Settings menu from the Home Screen or from the TV options menu in Live TV mode.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) / Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG)
Using this feature the TV can reproduce greater dynamic range of luminosity by capturing and then combining several different exposures. HDR/HLG promises better picture quality thanks to brighter, more realistic highlights, more realistic colour and other improvements. It delivers the look that filmmakers intended to achieve, showing the hidden areas of dark shadows and sunlight with full clarity, colour and detail. HDR/HLG contents are supported via native and market applications, HDMI, USB inputs and over DVB-S broadcasts. Set the related HDMI source input as EDID 2.0 or Auto EDID from the HDMI EDID Version option in the Settings>Device Preferences>Inputs menu in order to watch HDR/HLG content, if the HDR/HLG content is received through an HDMI input. The source device should also be at least HDMI 2.0a compatible in this case.

Dolby Vision
Dolby Vision™ delivers a dramatic visual experience, astonishing brightness, exceptional contrast, and vivid colour, that brings entertainment to life. It achieves this stunning image quality by combining HDR and wide colour gamut imaging technologies. By increasing the brightness of the original signal and using a higher dynamic colour and contrast range, Dolby Vision presents amazing true-to-life images with stunning detail that other post-processing technologies in the TV aren’t able to produce. Dolby Vision is supported via native and market applications, HDMI and USB inputs. Set the related HDMI source input as EDID 2.0 or Auto EDID from the HDMI EDID Version option in the Settings>Device Preferences>Inputs menu in order to watch Dolby Vision content, if the Dolby Vision content is received through an HDMI input. The source device should also be at least HDMI 2.0a com-patible in this case. In the Settings>Device Prefer-ences>Picture>Picture Mode menu two predefined picture modes will be available if Dolby Vision content is detected: Dolby Vision Bright and Dolby Vision Dark. Both allow the user to experience the content in the way the creator originally intended with different ambient lighting conditions. While watching Dolby Vision Content via an internet streaming application you will not be able to access the Picture menu and set the Picture Mode.

3 INSTALLATION AND POWER CONNECTION

1. Spread a soft towel on a flat surface and lay the N face down on the towel to avoid scratches.
2. Align the Base Stands with the screw holes on the bottom of the TV. Insert and tighten the Screws to attach the Base Stands to the TV.
3. Insert batteries into the remote control.
4. Connect the antenna cable to the ANTENNA socket of the N.
5. Connect the power plug to the mains power socket.
6. Press the 0 buttons on the remote control to turn the TV on.

The Help feature offers a lot of information about your TV operation. To use the Help feature, press the Home button, and then use the arrow and OK buttons to access the Help menu. You can find how to troubleshoot from the list or keyword search. If you update APK, the Help feature and Information will be updated. Never place a television set in an unstable location. A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can  be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
– Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the television set.
– Only using furniture that can safety support the television set.
– Ensuring the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
– Not placing the television set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the television set to a suitable support.
– Not placing the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting furniture.
– Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls
If your existing television set is being retained and relocated, the same considerations as above should be applied.
The plug or appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

How to assemble the stand
If you need to remove or assemble the stand please read the following instructions.
– Before attaching/detaching the stand, make sure to turn off the TV.
-Lay the TV face down on a soft cloth or a towel to prevent scratches.
Assembling instruction:

Step2: Before performing work, spread cushioning over the base area to lay the LED TV on.
Put the television on the table.

Step2: Align the Base Legs against the corresponding screw holes on the bottom of the TV. Insert and tighten the screws to attach the Base Legs to the TV.

– To disconnect the stand from the TV, perform the above steps in reverse order.

Overview of back panel

You can connect the TV with video devices such as DVD/VCD player, VCR and video camera to enjoy the high-quality picture.

Note:
The product and illustrations in this user’s manual are only for explanation purposes and may vary depending on model.

Overview of front panel

The Multifunction Button on the bottom of your TV(see below) can control your TV’s basic features, including the on-screen menu. To use the more advanced features, you must use the remote control.

Display/Hide the icons: Press the Multifunction Button once to display the icons shown above.
The icons will be hidden after 5 seconds of inactivity.
Icon selection: Short press the button, move the loop to the right, select the icon.
Icon function selection: Long press the key to achieve the function of the selected icon.

Overview of Remote Control

Note:
1) On average, the batteries should last for about a year.
2) If you don’t intend to use the remote control for a long period of time, remove batteries
to avoid damage due to leakage.
3) Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.
4) Do not throw batteries into fire or water.
5) The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Overview of Remote Control

1. POWER: Turn the TV on or switch it to standby.
2. INPUT: This button is used to switch among different sources, Select a source and press ENTER button to confirm.
3. Number Buttons(0-9): Directly select channel with number buttons.
4. RECALL: Switch to the previous program.
5. INFO: Display the program information.
6. GUIDE: Open the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) in DTV mode.
7. When connected to a network, YouTube: press this key to view YouTube directly.
8. HOME: Press it to go to App home page.
9. NETFLIX: When connected to a network, press this key to view NETFLIX directly.
10. Q.MENU: Press this key to go to quick menu.
11. MENU: Display the main menu or exit the current menu.

13. Arrow button : Use to select on-screen menu items and change menu values.

15. source button: In ATV, the button is used to set NICAM sound system. In DTV source, the button is used to set the audio language.
16. EXIT: Exit the menu.
17. VOL +-: Press these buttons to adjust the volume.
18. CH ∧/∨: Press these buttons to change channel upward or downward.
19. MUTE: Press this button to cut off the sound of the TV set temporarily, press again to resume.
20. COLOR BUTTONS: It’s used as shown in the EPG or Program Edit menu.
21. DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER CONTROL BUTTONS: Includes Play/Pause, Stop, Previous, Next, Back, Forward used in USB mode. A USB memory device must be connected to one of the USB ports for recording.
22. SUBTITLE: In USB mode, press this button to turn on/turn off subtitles (for a program with subtitles).

Installing Batteries in the Remote Control

External Connection

Antenna connection

Antenna input impedance of this unit is 75ohm. VHF/UHF 75ohm coaxial cable can be connected to the antenna jack directly, if the antenna cable is 300ohm  parallel flat feeder cable, you need to use the 300ohm/75ohm converter to connect the antenna cable to the antenna jack. For details please refer to the following drawing.

Connecting VCR

These instructions assume that you have already connected your TV to an antenna or a cable TV system. Skip step 1 if you have not yet connected to an antenna or a cable system.

Follow the instructions in Viewing a VCR or Camcorder Tape to view your VCR tape.
Each VCR has a different back panel configuration.
When connecting a VCR, match the color of the connection terminal to the cable.

1. Unplug the cable or antenna from the back of the TV.
2. Connect the cable or antenna to the ANT IN terminal on the back of the VCR.
3. Connect an RF Cable between the ANT OUT terminal on the VCR and the ANT IN terminal on the TV.
4. Connect a Component Cable between the COMPONENT [Y, Pb, Pr] jacks on the DVD player and YPbPr jack on the TV.
5. Connect Audio Cables between the AUDIO OUT jacks on the VCR and the AUDIO jack on the TV.

Note:
1. Whenever you connect an external device to your TV, make sure that power on the unit is turned off.
2. When connecting an external device, match the color of the connection terminal to the cable.

Connecting a Camcorder

The rear panel jacks on your TV make it easy to connect a camcorder to your TV. They allow you to view the camcorder tapes without using a VCR.
Each Camcorder has a different back panel configuration.
When connecting a Camcorder or DVD, match the color of the connection terminal to the cable.

Connecting DVD Player/Set-Top Box via HDMI

This connection can only be made if there is an HDMI Output connector on the external device.

What is HDMI?
HDMI, or high-definition multimedia interface, is an interface that enables the transmission of digital audio and video signals using a single cable without compression.
Multimedia interface is a more accurate name for it especially because it allows multiple channels of digital audio (5.1 channels).
Each DVD player/STB has a different back panel configuration.
Connect an HDMI Cable between one of the HDMI connectors on the TV and the HDMI connector on the DVD player/Set-Top Box.
Notes:
1.Whenever you connect an external device to your TV, make sure that power on the unit is turned off.
2.When connecting an external device, match the color of the connection terminal to the cable.

Connecting Digital Audio System

The rear panel jacks on your TV make it easy to connect a Digital Audio System to your TV.

Menu Operation

1 Input Setup
Press INPUT key on the remote control to enter “INPUT SOURCE” menu.
Use key to select an input source and press ENTER key to confirm.

2 Channels Selection
There are four ways to select channel:

1. Using number keys, and “ENTER” keys on the remote control to select channel directly. To select channel 90, press .
   When you use the number buttons, you can directly select channels that were either erased or not memorized.
2. Using CH key on the remote control or on your TV to select channel.
   When you press the CH key, the TV changes channels in sequence. You will see all the channels that the TV has memorised.
   You will not see channels that were either erased or not memorised.
3. Press RECALL key to return to previous channel, press it again to return to current channel. To quickly switch between two channels that are far apart, tune  to one channel, then use the number keys to select the second channel. Then use the RECALL button to quickly alternate between them.
   RECALL is not activated if no channel has been changed after TV turning on.
4. Select channels from “Channels List” or “Favorite List”. Press “ENTER” key to choose from “Channel List” menu.

3 Volume Adjustment and Mute Setup

Volume adjustment

Press VOL+ /- key on the remote control or the TV to display “Volume” menu, adjust the volume of TV between 0 to 100 by using VOL+ /- key:

Menu Operation

•  To increase the volume, press VOL + key;
• To decrease the volume, press VOL – key;

Mute
Press “MUTE” and the sound cuts off. The MUTE icon will appear in the lower-right corner of the screen.
To resume sound, press the “MUTE” button again, or simply press the VOL+ key.

4 Current Channel Information

Press “INFO” key on the remote control to view current channel information, the indications of channel information are listed in the following table.

Press “EXIT” key on the remote control to exit this OSD.

5 EPG Menu
Press GUIDE key to enter “EPG” menu, the first line displays current channel number, channel name, event title and current time.
The following line displays all programs which will be displayed in this channel, press key to select the program you want to watch, then press “ENTER” key to enter this program to watch.
Use “Reminder”(ENTER) button to reserve programs. If the TV is in DTV mode, it will automatically switch to the reserved program at the scheduled time.  Press key and select “Schedule” option to look up the reminder list.

Press EXIT key on the remote control to exit this OSD.

Menu system instruction

Picture

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “Picture” option.
3. Press key to enter “Picture” submenu.

Picture Mode
Your TV has these picture settings that are preset at the factory. Only “User” mode can be set to your preference by adjusting particular items such as Contrast, Brightness, Color, Sharpness.
1. Press key to select “Picture Mode” option.
2. Press key to select one picture mode.

User settings for PICTURE (Contrast, Brightness, Color, Sharpness,Tint, Backlight)
Your set has several settings which allow you to control picture quality.
1. Press ▲/▼ key to select a particular item.
2. Press key to decrease or increase the value of a particular item.
Note: The adjusted values are stored according to the selected particular item.

• Contrast: Adjusts the lightness and darkness between objects and the background.
• Brightness: Adjusts the brightness of the picture.
• Color: Adjusts the colors, making them lighter or darker.
• Sharpness: Adjusts the outline of objects to either sharpen them or make them more dull.
• Tint: Adjusts the Tint of the picture. Note: This adjustment is only available for NTSC signals.
• Backlight: Adjusts the brightness of the whole screen.

Color Temperature
You can change the color of the entire screen according to your preference.
1. Press  key to select “Color Temperature” option.
2. Press key to select color temp.

Aspect Ratio
1. Press key to select “Aspect Ratio” option.
2. Press key to change the size of the picture on the screen.
Noise Reduction
Press key to select the Noise Reduction mode.
You can select the right mode to match the pictures.
Open HDR
1. Press key to select “Open HDR” option.
2. Press key to select “Auto”, “Low”, “Middle” or “High”.

Sound

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “Sound” option.
3. Press  key to enter “Sound” submenu.

Sound Mode
You can select the type of the special sound effect to be used when watching a given broadcast.
Your TV has five sound settings (“Standard”, “Music”, “Movie”, “Sport”, “User”) that are preset at the factory.
1. Press key to select “Sound Mode” option.
2. Press key to select a sound mode.

• Standard: Selects the normal sound mode.
• Music: Provides clear and live sound for music.
• Movie: Provides live and full sound for movies.
• Sports: Emphasizes bass over other sounds.
• User: Selects your custom sound settings.

Equalizer
Set sound equalizer mode.

Balance
If the volumes of the left speaker and the right speaker are not the same, you can adjust the
“Balance” to suit your personal preference.
1. Press key to select “Balance” option.
2. Press t/u key to decrease or increase the value of the item.
Auto Volume Limit
Each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, and it is inconvenient to adjust the volume every time the channel is changed. “AVL” automatically  adjusts the volume of the desired channel by lowering the sound output when the modulation signal is high or by raising the sound
output when the modulation signal is low.
1. Press key to select “AVL” option.
2. Press key to select “On” or “Off”.
Surround sound
This is used to turn on surround sound to gain better sound effect.
1. Press key to select “Surround sound” option.
2. Press key to select “Surround” or “Off”.
Dolby Audio Process
This is used to set DAP.
1. Press key to select “Dolby Audio Process” option.
2. Press key to select “On” or “Off”.

AD Switch
Press button to select AD Switch, then press ENTER or button to enter sub-menu.
In it you can turn the AD Switch on or off and set the volume ratio in DTV mode.
Digital Output Type
This is used to set digital audio output.
1. Press key to select “Digital Output Type” option.
2. Press key to select a digital output type in DTV or HDMI mode.
Audio Type
This is used to set audio type
1.Press key to select “Audio Type” option.
2.Press key to select audio type.
Audio Delay
This is used to set audio delay.
1.Press key to select “Audio Delay”, them press ENTER or button to enter sub-menu.
2.Press key to decrease or increase the value of the item.

Setting

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “Setting” option.
3. Press key to enter “Setting” submenu.
Language
1. Press key to select “OSD Language” setting.
2. Press ENTER or key to select a proper language for OSD.
OSD Time
Set the preferred amount of time for the OSD to be displayed on the screen.
HDMI EDID
This function is only used in HDMI mode.
1. Press key to select “ HDMI EDID” option.
2. Press key to select “Auto”,”2K” or “4K”.
HBBTV
This is used to set HBBTV.
Turn on or turn off the HBBTV function.
Link Setup
1. Press key to select “Link Setup” option.
2. Press key to enter “Link Setup” submenu.

Link-CEC
Turn on or turn off the Link-CEC function.
Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) allows you to control multiple
CEC-enabled devices connected using HDMI, with a single remote control.
HDMI ARC
Turn on or turn off the HDMI ARC function.
Audio Return Channel (ARC) returns audio though the same HDMI channel that is used to send video to the TV. If switched on, you won’t need a separate audio cable to return sound from the TV.
ARC Feature is available on HDMI 1.
Auto Power
Turn on or turn off the Auto Power function.

Auto Standby
Turn on or turn off the Auto Standby function.

Time
1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “Time” option.
3. Press key to enter “Time” submenu.

Auto Sync
You can modify the time of your TV set in Manual mode. In Auto mode, the “clock” is decided by the DTV signal.
Clock –:–
When Auto Sync is on, the clock is obtained from DTV streams; Set the clock when Auto Sync is off.

Off Time
In “Off Time” item, press button or ENTER button to enter the submenu, set the day & time to turn off the TV set.
On Time
In “On Time” item, press button or ENTER button to enter the submenu, set the time to turn on the TV set, when the TV set is in the standby mode. You can set the ON time in advance for up to 7 days.

Sleep Timer
1. Press key to select “Sleep Timer” option.
2. Press key repeatedly until the desired time appears (Off, 10mins, 20mins, 30mins, 60mins, 90mins, 120mins, 180mins, 240mins).
Note:
The sleep timer you have set will be cancelled when the TV turns off or if a power failure occurs.
Note: When the time is less than 60 seconds, remind information will be displayed on the screen. Press any key button to cancel timer function.

Auto Sleep
Press key to select whether to open the No signal Power off features. If this function is opened, the TV will power off when there is no signal.
Time Zone
You can choose it to modify your time zone in the TV set.
1. Press key to select “Time Zone” option.
2. Press key to select time zone.
Reset
1.Press “” key to select “Reset” option.
2.Press “” or “ENTER” key to confirm.
3.Press “Yes” to confirm again, TV will turn off automatically and reset all settings to factory settings.

Lock
The “Lock” feature automatically locks out programming that is deemed inappropriate for children.
The user must first enter a Password before any of the lock restrictions can be set up or changed.
1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “Lock” option.
3. Press key to enter “Lock” submenu, “Enter Password” menu will appear, enter your 4-digit password to enter “Lock” submenu (the default and universal password is 0000).

Lock System
Set the Lock function on or off.
1. Press key to select “Lock System” option.
2. Press  key to select “On” or “Off”.
Set Password
1. Press key to select “Set Password” option.
2. Enter your 4-digit password to enter “Set Password” submenu.
Choose any 4-digits for your new password and enter them. As soon as the 4 digits are entered, the cursor skipped to “Confirm Password” item, re-enter the same 4 digits, and your new password will be set.
Note: When programs are locked, use the key on the remote control to access the input-password window.
Parental Guidance
This option can only be used in DTV mode.
1. Presskey to select “Parental Guidance” option.
2.Prsee key to select the lock level of the Parental Rate.

PVR Option

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select ” VR Option” option.
3. Press key to enter ” VR Option” submenu.

PVR File System
1. Press key to select “PVR File System” option.
2. Press ENTER or key to enter submenu in DTV mode.
Connect the USB disk to the standard USB port before using PVR.

• Select Disk: Press OK” button to enter submenu and press   to choose the disk for PVR.
• Time Shift Size: Display the buffer used for PVR.
• Format Start: Press “OK” button to enter format submenu.
• Speed: Display the disk writing/reading speed.

Warning:
1. The disk must be formatted when first used for PVR, so backup the original data in the disk.
It is recommended to use a special disk for PVR. Don’t modify the PVR file in PC.
Note: The recorded PVR file will be in encrypted form. It can only be viewed on the TV.

Start Record
Press ▲/▼key to select “Start Record”. If the storage device is ready, press “ENTER” key to start recording.
The recording menus will disappear in 5 seconds, press “MENU” key to call them out.
When recording, press “●” key again, then you can choose to stop recording or continue:

Start Timeshift
Note: A USB device must be connected to the USB port for this function.
In DTV channel, press “ ” key to pause, press it again to resume playback.
This is the “Time Shift”. When time shift function is activated, the program is temporarily stored in the USB device. The ‘time shift’ length may be limited based on the available space in the USB device.

This feature supports fast forward and rewind function. Press “” key to go backward or forward.

Record Files
Press key to select “Recorded List”. If the storage device is ready, press “ENTER” key to check the record list.
1) Press key to select record file.
1) Press and “ENTER” key to delete the selected file.

Program

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press ▲/▼key to select ” rogram” option.
3. Press key to enter ” rogram” submenu.
Auto Tuning
Press ▲/▼ key to select “Auto Tuning” option. The number of searched channels will be shown on the screen.
Note: If you want to exit the whole searching, you can press EXIT button.
DTV Manual Tuning
You can use ◄/► button or input number to choose the channel. Then press ENTER button to search, the TV will store the DTV channel if there is a DTV  signal present.
ATV Manual Tuning
In the ATV/DTV source, you can choose “ATV Manual Tuning” to enter “ATV Manual Tuning” menu.
Current CH
You can see the current channel number and you can press ◄/►button to choose the channel you want to modify. It will be searched and saved automatically.
Color System
Select the “Color System” option, press ◄/► on the remote control to change. The color system will be changed repeatedly in the order: PAL-N, PAL-M, NTSC, or AUTO.
Fine Tune
In case of unfavourable image or sound of TV program, you can use “Fine Tune”.
Frequency
You can see the frequency of the searched channels.
Save
You can see the channel you chose.

Signal Information (Used only in DTV)
1. Press key to select “Signal Information” option.
2. Press “ENTER”or key, you can see the information of the DTV channel.
NOTE:
Signal Quality/Signal Strength (DTV Only): Unlike analogue channels, which can vary in reception quality, digital channels must have perfect reception quality or you will not receive them at all. So, unlike analogue channels, you cannot fine tune a digital channel. If the signal strength indicates that the signal is weak, a  possible solution is to adjust your antenna to increase the signal strength. Continue to adjust the antenna until you find the best position with the strongest signal.

Network

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “Network” option.
3. Press key to enter “Network” submenu.

Wi-Fi
To connect to Wi-Fi using “Autoscan”, select “Autoscan” option and press key to select your Wi-Fi network. Enter the password to connect to the Wi-Fi network. For manual input, select “Manual Input” option, then set up IP, Netmask, Gateway and DNS. Press “Connect” when the setup is complete.
Ethernet
To connect to wired network, using Dynamic IP address setting, select “DHCP” in Configuration, then press “Connect” to enter.
If using Static IP address setting, select “Static” in Configuration, then set up IP, Netmask, Gateway and
DNS. Press “Connect” when setup is complete.
Wake On LAN/Wake On WLAN
Use the ◄/► Buttons to turn on these functions. Your mobile phone should be in the same network as the TV.

About

1. Press MENU key to display the main menu on the screen.
2. Press key to select “About” option.
3. Press key to enter “About” submenu.

Netflix

Netflix Deactive
1.Press key to select “Netflix Deactive” option.
2.Press or ENTER key to confirm.
3.Press “YES” to confirm again, the Netflix will be activated.

Display the Netflix Esn information.

Software Update(USB)
Note: Please check with Customer Service if an update is available.
When the TV need to be updated, please copy the new software to a USB memory device and connect it to the USB port of the TV. Then perform the following steps:
1.Press key to select “Software Update” option.
2.Press or ENTERkey to confirm.
3.Press “YES” to confirm again, the TV will update by USB. Please wait a few minutes and don’t turn off the power, it will turn off automatically when updating is complete.

Internet Update Check
Check if an internet update is available.

NETFLIX
If you have a Netflix account, you can watch videos using the Netflix app. Sign in using your email address and password.

1. Use arrow key to select , then press “ENTER” key to enter NETFLIX.
2. Use arrow button to select one video and press “ENTER” key to play. Press “MENU” key to exit playing.
3. Use arrow key to browse the pages. press “MENU” key to return to main menu and press “EXIT” key to exit.

1. Use arrow key to Select YouTube icon, then press “ENTER” key to enter Youtube.
2. Use arrow button to select one video and press “ENTER” key to play. Press “MENU” key to exit playing.
3. Press key to open or close control menu when playing.

Screencast

This function is for ANDROID smart phone sharing screens with TV.
1) Download “miracast” app or similar from Google store in Android smart phone.
2) Connect TV and phone to the same WIFI.
3) Turn on the SCREENCAST application of TV.
4) Turn on the Miracast function of phone.
5) Select the TV screencast.

Homeshare

This function is for smart phone sharing music/picture/video with TV.

1. Download “Media server” or similar from Google store in Android smartphone.
   Download “UPNP/DLNA streamer for TV” or similar from Apple store in IOS smartphone.
2. Android: Connect TV and phone to the same WIFI.
   IOS:Connect TV and phone to the same WIFI.
   Turn on the Application, and broadcast the phone.
3. Select DLNA function of TV.
4. Check the documents from phone.

Digital Media Player

This TV is embedded with USB port digital media player. It can find the devices that support USB1.1/2.0,including flash disk, USB hard disk and digital camera.  It supports functions as: Display pictures. Play music files, Play video files.

INSTALLING THE TV STAND

It is recommended two people handle TV stand installation. To prevent scratch or damage to the TV screen, place the TV on a soft, flat surface.

Attach the stands to the bottom of the TV by inserting the stand into slots on the TV. Secure the stands to the TV with the supplied screws. To attach the left and right leg that forms the stand:

1. Place the legs into the bottom slots of the TV, insert and tighten the screws (found in the accessories bag) in the circled areas with the screwdriver (not provided).
   

   

2. After securing the stand, place the TV on a stable surface. The TV is ready for use now.

SETTING UP  YOUR TV

1. Place batteries in remote
   Power your TV remote by inserting the included batteries carefully matching(+) and (-) indicated inside the battery compartment.Tip: Always replace dead batteries with two brand-new batteries from the same manufacturer. Never use damaged batteries.

2. Plug in and turn on TV Connect your power cord to the TV, then plug it into the wall outlet.Press the power button on your TV remote control.
3. Complete Guided Setup and Activation Tip: Have your wireless network name and password handy.

Follow the on-screen instructions on your Roku TV.

Activate your Roku TV using your computer, smartphone, or tablet to link to a Roku account. You need a Roku account to activate your Roku TV and access entertainment across thousands of streaming channels.

Note: Roku doesn’t charge for activation support — beware of scams.

Roku accounts are free and while a valid credit card number is not required to create a Roku account, saving your credit card information makes renting, purchasing, and subscribing to entertainment from the Roku Channel Store fast and convenient.

Once connected to your account, your TV will automatically update with the latest software, and you can start streaming immediately.

If you aren’t ready to connect your TV to a wireless network, you can still use it as a regular TV.

CONNECT AN ANTENNA (OPTIONAL)

Check to ensure that you have selected the right cables for the ports and that they are connected securely. Loose connections can affect the quality of the picture image and color. (Cables and External Equipment not included.

1. When the setup wizard is complete select the Antenna TV icon from the home screen.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Whenever you want to watch antenna TV, select the Antenna icon.

1. Thank you for purchasing your new JVC TV. Your new TV incorporates the latest technology to enhance your viewing experience. We would suggest that you allow about 20 mins for initial setup. Please follow this guide for a successful first-time installation.
2. The latest eco-friendly power-saving technology will switch off the TV if the device is left on and idle for 4 hours or it does not receive an input signal for several minutes. Please refer to the “Eco Friendly / Auto Standby Function” section of the instruction manual for more detail.

Operating Your Remote Control

Installing Batteries

• Press and lift the back cover to open the battery compartment of the remote control.
• Insert two AAA size batteries. Close the battery compartment cover.

Install the batteries correctly by following the polarity (+ and -) indications in the battery compartment.

Operation Range

Point the remote control at the TV no more than 5 meters from the remote control sensor on the TV and within 60° in front of the TV. The operating distance may vary depending on the brightness of the room.

Installing the Base Stand

• Lay the TV down on a flat surface with the backside facing up, and ideally at the edge of a table so that the base of the TV slightly overhangs it. Please make sure a soft cushioned material (such as a towel or thick piece of foam) is placed beneath the screen.
• Leave the protective bag on your TV until you have fully attached the TV stand.
• Attach the TV stand to the TV. Align the screw holes, then secure with a screwdriver (not included) using the 4 screws provided.

Connecting the Aerial and the Mains Socket

• Connect one end of the RF coaxial cable to the aerial socket on the wall and the other end of the cable to the RF (75Ω) socket at the rear right side of your TV.
• Connect the mains cable to the mains socket after you have completed all the connections.
• At this stage, the TV switches to standby mode. The red LED indicator will illuminate on the front panel of the TV.
• In standby mode, press the button on the bottom of the TV or on the remote control to turn the TV on. The red LED indicator will turn off.

• Do not connect the TV to the main supply until you have completed all the connections.
• If you watch TV using a set-top box, simply connect your TV and set-top box via an HDMI cable and select HDMI in the Input Source menu.

Turning the TV On for the First Time

• The first time you turn the TV on, it will go straight into the First Time Installation menu.
• Please ensure the aerial is plugged in and then press the OK button.

• Press the buttons to select the country where you will operate the TV. Press the OK button to confirm.

• Press the button to select OSD Language, then press the buttons to select your desired language to be displayed on the menu. The default on-screen menu
• language is set as English. Press the OK button to confirm.

Press the button to select Home/Store Mode. Press the buttons to select your desired mode and then press the OK button. A pop-up message will be displayed.
Press the buttons to select Yes to confirm or No to cancel. Press the OK button to return to the Mode Select menu.

• Home Mode Intended for use in a home environment.
• Store Mode Intended for use in a retail environment.

• Press the button to select Tune Type, then press the buttons to select DTV /
• ATV / DTV + ATV. Press the OK button to confirm.

• Channel tuning will commence. This operation may take a few minutes. The display will show the progress of the tuning and the number of channels found.
• If you are going to watch TV using a set-top box, press the EXIT button on the remote control then skip this section. Then press the INPUT button on the remote control to select HDMI mode.

Target Region Setting (UK only)

• During tuning your TV may have received signals from more than one transmitter. If this has occurred the Target Region Setting screen will be displayed. This will enable you to select the correct regional transmission for the local news service that you require.
• Press the buttons to select the Country then press the buttons to select Primary
• Region / Secondary Region / Tertiary Region.
• Press the buttons to select your preferred region then press the OK button to confirm.
• Country Code This will be shown as GBR for the UK.
• Primary Region This will show the regional country (e.g. England, Wales, Scotland, NI).
• Secondary Region This will allow you to set the region for your local news service on BBC and
• ITV (e.g. London, Beds, Cambs, etc).
• Tertiary Region You may receive signals from more than one transmitter within the
• Secondary Region, (e.g Beds and Cambs may have Luton or Sandy Heath).

Well done, your new TV is now ready to use. You will find that there are many exciting features available. To get to know all these features, please take some time to read the instruction manual provided with your TV.

• This product is for 12 V power supply only.
• After taking the product out of the polyethylene bag, be sure to dispose of the poly-ethylene bag out of the reach of children. Otherwise, they may play with the bag, which could cause hazard of suffocation

Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard.
The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery.

• If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
• If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

CAUTION

• Installation and wiring of the product requires expert skill and experience. To ensure safety, be sure to have your dealer or specialist perform the installation and wiring.
• Do not install the product in a spot exposed to excessive heat or humidity.
• Do not install the product in unstable locations or locations subject to dust.
• Do not use gasoline, naphtha, or any type of solvent to clean the product. Clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth.
• Connect the speaker wires to appropriate speaker connectors separately. Sharing  the negative wire of the speaker or grounding speaker wires to the metal body of the boat/vehicle can cause this product to fail.
• When making a hole under a seat, inside the trunk, or somewhere else in the boat/ vehicle, check that there is nothing hazardous on the opposite side such as a gasoline tank, brake pipe; or wiring harness, and be careful not to cause scratches or other damage.
• Do not secure the ground wire to the bolts or nuts of important safety equipment such as: Steering or braking devices, airbag mechanisms (Can cause accidents.)
• Fasten the product securely so that it does not get detached due to sudden deceleration and becomes a hindrance to driving to ensure that it does not pose a danger to the passengers. (Cause of injury or accidents.)
• After installing the product, check that the following electrical equipment are working properly.
  -­ Lights, navigation lights, brake lights, turn signal lights, windshield wipers, horn device, etc.
• The helmsman or driver must always stop the boat or vehicle in a safe location before performing the next action.
  -­ Remote control operation
• Do not use the product for purposes other than on-board mounting.
• Keep the volume of sound at an optimum level. Not being able to hear sounds from outside of your car can lead to traffic accidents.
• To prevent damaging the speaker, turn off the power of amplifier before connecting it to the speaker.

Connections

WARNING

Remove the ignition key and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent short circuits.

CAUTION

Check that no unconnected wires or connectors are touching the metal parts or car body.

Wiring

• In a computer-equipped boat/vehicle, when you remove the terminal of the battery, the memory may disappear, or a defect may occur in the electrical system of the boat/vehicle. Consult your dealer for further details.
• Do not allow the wire to directly contact the edge of the iron plate by using grommets.
• Do not turn the power on if the ground wire is not connected. Connect the ground wire to a metal part of the car chassis that acts as an electrical ground passing electricity to the battery`s negative terminal.

Connecting the speaker cords

With this product, the speaker cords are not supplied. Obtain the audio speaker cords with the required length. To connect the speaker cords to the speaker, terminate the wires with female spade connectors.
12 – 22 AWG speaker cord is recommended.

Connecting the power supply wires and link cable (RGB LED)

1. Pass 2 heat shrink tubes (6) onto the link cable B(5) .
2. Connect the link cable B (5) to the left and right speakers.
3. Put the heat shrink tube (6)over the connection area of the connector. Apply heat with a heat gun or similar to shrink the tube and protect the connector from moisture, etc. (Refer to Fig. 3) Protect the 2 connectors that are not in use with heat shrink tubes(6). (Refer to Fig. 4)
4. Connect the ground wire (black) and the +12 V wire (yellow) of the controller of speaker A (1)
5. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Do not use link cable A (4)for this connection.

Do not connect the +12 V wire and ground wire in reverse. Incorrect connections can cause failure.

When connecting the power supply (+12 V) directly to the battery

CAUTION
Be sure to connect a 3 A fuse between the power cord (+12 V) of the controller of speaker A(1) battery. The cord length between the battery and the fuse must not exceed 90 mm (3-9/16″).

Do not connect the +12 V wire and ground wire in reverse. Incorrect connections can cause failure.

When using multiple pairs of speakers
A maximum of up to 6 pairs of speakers can be connected. Connect the link cables of the second and subsequent pairs of speakers as shown on the right. The figure shows an example of connecting 3 pairs of speakers. Connect the fourth and subsequent pairs speakers in the same way as the third pair. Protect the 2 connectors that are not in use with heat shrink tubes . (Refer to Fig. 4)
You can control all the LED lights with one remote controller, but you cannot control just a specific speaker.

Do not let the wire come out from the tab.

How to replace the battery
If the Remote Controller operates only over shorter distances or does not operate at all, it is possible that the battery is depleted. In such instances, replace the battery with new one.
