					<description><![CDATA[HYGIPLAS Digital Fridge/Freezer Thermometer Handleiding &#160; Safety Tips Clean the probe immediately after each measurement to avoid cross contamination. Do not expose the appliance to temperatures over 50ºC/122ºF or use in ovens Installation Battery Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the appliance. Remove the insulation strip and close the battery cover. Wall Mount Appliance Clean the surface area where the appliance is to be mounted. Attach the velcro pads to the mounting surface and to the back of the appliance and join together. Wall Mount Sensor Clean the surface area where the appliance is to be mounted. Attach the double-sided tape to the sensor holder and fix in place or Fix the sensor holder using the screw provided. Operation Temperature Measurement Press the IN/OUT button to select either the sensor in the appliance (IN) or the probe (OUT) to read the temperature. The correct temperature is displayed when the value remains constant. Units of Measurement Press the red ºC/ºF button on the back of the appliance to alternate between Centigrade and Fahrenheit. Maximum/Minimum Readings The thermometer can store and display the maximum and minimum temperature readings taken since the last reset: Press the IN/OUT button to select the required temperature reading. Press the MAX/MIN button. The MAX icon and the maximum temperature taken displays on the screen. Press the MAX/MIN button again. The MIN icon and the minimum temperature taken displays on the screen. Press the button again to resume normal operation. Note: To reset the memory press and hold the MAX/MIN button. A beeps sounds when the memory is reset. Always reset the memory before taking new readings to ensure accurate readings. High/Low Temperature Alarm (OUT sensor only The thermometer can sound an alarm when a set temperature range is exceeded. Press and hold the ALARM SET button. The HIGH value flashes on the display. Press and hold the ºC/ºF button to scroll to the required HIGH temperature. Press the ALARM SET button to then display the LOW temperature.
