INITIAL SETUP

1. Remove your scale from the protective bag and insert the batteries. Place the scale on a flat surface.

WEIGHT MEASUREMENTS

• Step onto the center of the scale, it will turn on automatically.
• Step off after weight is displayed. The scale will turn itself off.
• Press the button underneath the scale to change units.

BLUETOOTH® SMART

Bluetooth® SMART wireless technology, also known as Bluetooth® Low En-ergy or BLE, enables the Escali SmartConnect Body Scale to automatically send weight measurements to the Escali SmartConnect mobile app for en-hanced functionality.

INSTANT-ON TECHNOLOGY

The scale will turn on automatically when weight is applied to the platform.

DISPLAY HOLD

Your weight will stay on display for 15 seconds after the measurement is taken, even if you step off the scale.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

The scale will turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity to save battery.

LARGE BACKLIGHT DISPLAY

• The backlight will turn on when adding items onto the scale.
• The backlight turns off automatically after 18 seconds of inactivity.

PROPER USE & CARE

• Use and stow the scale at room temperature.
• Use on a flat, level and stable surface.
• The scale is an instrument of precision. Do not submit the scale to shaking, excessive vibration or other rough treatment.
• The display may be affected by electromagnetic disturbances such as ra-dios, microwaves or cell phones. If such disturbances occur, remove the source of the disturbance & restart the scale.
• Disassembling or tampering with the scale will void the warranty.
• Clean the scale with dish soap and a damp cloth.
• Do not submerge in liquid. The scale is not waterproof.
