Start Know your Gear

LCD Display

Press the AC/DC Power Button to check the remaining battery capacity.

1. Turn off each output by pressing its power button as it does not turn off automatically or it will drain the battery out.
2. Blink, When it drain below 20%, start to blink and recharge first.

Indicator Light

1. Turn on AC / DC button, the indicator light green, press the button to reset if light red.
2. When the AC/Car/Solar recharging, the indicator light red, 100% fully charged then turn to green.

During a mains power outage, the CF-UPS008 will automatically switch over to the lithium battery providing power seamlessly and without disruption.

Recharging Your UPS Battery

Before using or storing, plug your CF-UPS008 into the wall until it is fully charged. If at any point you hear a beeping from your battery, plug it into a power source, like an AC outlet or a solar panel, as soon as possible. There are many ways to recharge your CHAFON Battery:

Our product is not suitable to be used with equipment that relates to one’s own personal safety and relies on heavily on electricity, such as medical devices, equipment for nuclear facilities, the manufacturer of air and spacecraft, etc. We, therefore, assume no liability for accidents involving personal safety, fires or machine failures, caused by using our product with the aforementioned devices.

Warranty

Limited Warranty

CHAFON Inc. warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the CHAFON product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal consumer use during the applicable warranty period identified in the’ warranty period’ section below, subject to the exclusions set forth below. this warranty statement sets forth CHAFON’s total and exclusive warranty obligation. we will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.

Warranty Period

The warranty period is 12 months. In each case, the warranty period is measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. the sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, or other reasonable documentary proof, is required in order to establish the start date of the warranty period.

Remedy

CHARON will repair or replace (at CHAFON’ s option) any CHAFON product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to a defect in workmanship or material. If a valid claim is made during the applicable period, Chafon, at its option, will either(1) replace the product, or (2)exchange the product with a product that is of equal value.
A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. Customers are responsible for the return shipping or replacement shipping cost (USD 35).

Limited to Original Consumer Buyer

The warranty on CHAFON’s product is limited to the original consumer purchaser and to any subsequent owner.

Exclusions

CHAFON’ s warranty does not apply to(i)any product that is misused, abused, modified, damaged by accident, or used for anything other than normal consumer use as authorized in CHAFON’s current product literature, or(ii)any product purchased through an online auction house. CHAFON’s s warranty does not apply to the battery cell unless the battery cell is fully charged by you within seven days after you purchase the product and at least every 4 months thereafter.

What type of battery is in my CF-UPS008?

CF-UPS008 contains a battery pack that consists of three polymer lithium-ion batteries with high energy density.

How do I know if my CF-UPS008 is charged?

Refer to the LCD Battery Display percentage, 100% is full.

What solar panels are compatible?

12.6V,40-100W solar panel with 18V optimum operating voltage.

Can I recharge the CF-UPS008 while any ports output at the same time? The CF-UPS008 supports pass-through charging(UPS function).

It will charge connected devices, while also being charged.

How do I know if my device will work with the CF-UPS008 and how long will behold?
Check your device specification, compatible with CF-UPS008 that require less than 500W. Working time = 288Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device.

Note: the power consumption will impact on actual working time.

My CF-UPS008 is beeping…what does that mean?

1. Low battery alert, plug your unit into a power source, like an outlet or solar panel.
2. Overload protection, Unplug any devices from CF-UPS008, check all their specification, not AC 500W, DC 40W, etc.
