VENTILATION

Installation of the exhaust hose
  • It is essential to use a venting hose to carry the hot moist air away from the dryer unless the dryer is situated in an open space with a good air flow around it.
  • Recirculation of the moist air will prevent the efficient operation of the dryer.
  • The hose is assembled to the machine as shown.
  • The hose may be fitted through a wall or through an open door or window. The hose is 110 mm in diameter and will extend 1,8 meters.
The following guidelines should be followed when installing the exhaust hose.
  • Do not use two hoses joined together as the drying performance will be reduced.
  • Do not restrict the flow of air through the hose e.g. by kinking it or fitting a smaller diameter connector to mount to a wall opening.
  • Avoid the hose making U shaped curves as this will restrict the flow of air and increase the chance that water will collect in the hose.
  • Check the hose regularly to remove any build-up of fluff or water that may have collected in it.
The following diagrams give examples of good and bad installations.

WARNING The installation should prevent air flowing back into the machine through the exhaust hose. The machine could be damaged electrically, and its safety compromised, if the exhaust hose air is allowed to re-enter the tumble dryer.

Dear Customer: Thank you for purchasing the CANDY induction hob. We hope it will give many years of good service. Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the hob and keep it in a safe place for future reference.

Product Introduction

The induction hob caters to all kinds of cooking. with its electromagnetic cooking zones, and its micro-computerized controls and multi-functions, making it the ideal choice for today’s family. Manufactured with specially imported materials, the CANDY induction hob is extremely user-friendly, durable, and safe.

Working Principle

The induction hob comprises a coil, a hotplate made of ferromagnetic material, and a control system. The electrical current generates a powerful magnetic field through the coil. This produces a large number of vortices which in turn generate heat which is then transmitted through the cooking zone to the cooking vessel.

Safety

This hob was specially designed for domestic use. In its constant search to improve its products. CANDY reserves the right to modify any technical. program or aesthetic aspects of the appliance at any time.
Protection from over-heating
A sensor monitors the temperature in the COOko-; zones. When the temperature exceeds a safe level, the cooking zone is automatically switched off.
Detection of small or non-magnetic items
When a pan with a diameter of less than 80 mm. or some other small item (e.g. knife. fork, key) or a non-magnetic pan (e.g. aluminum) has been left on the hob, a buzzer sounds for approximately one minute. after which the hob goes automatically on to standby.
Residual heat warning
When the hob has been operating for some time. there will be some residual heat. The letter ‘hi appears to warn you to keep away from it.
Auto shutdown
Another safety feature of the induction hob is auto shutdown. This occurs whenever you forget to switch off a cooking zone. The default shutdown times are shown in the table below:

Power level The heating zone shut down the  automatically after
1-3  8 hours
4-6 4 hours
7-9 2 hours

When the pan is removed from the cooking zone. it stops heating immediately and switches itself off after the buzzer has sounded for one minute.
Warning: Anyone who has been fitted with a heart pacemaker should consult a doctor before using the induction hotplate.

Installation

  1. Cut a hole in the worktop of the dimension shown in the diagram below. A minimum of 50 mm space should be left around the hole, The worktop should be at least 30 mm thick and made of heat-resistant material, As shown in Figure (1)
  2. It is essential that the induction hob is well ventilated and that the air intake and exit are not blocked.
Make sure the hob is correctly installed as shown in Figure 2.
Figure2NB: For safety. the gap between the hob and any cupboard above it should be at least 760 mm.
  3. Fix the hob to the worktop using the four brackets on the base of the hob. The position of the brackets can be adjusted according to the thickness of the top.

Troubleshooting

  1. WHEN THE REFRIGERATOR DOES NOT WORK
Check if there is a power failure.
Check if the power plug is plugged into the power outlet.
Check that the fuse has not blown.
  2. WHEN THE REFRIGERATOR IS COOLING EXCESSIVELY
The temperature control dial may be set too high.
If you place foodstuffs containing a lot of moisture directly under the cool air outlets, they will freeze easily.
This does not indicate a malfunction.
  3. WHEN THE REFRIGERATOR IS NOT COOLING SUFFICIENTLY
The food may be packed too tightly together which will block the flow of cool air.
You may have put something hot or a lot of foodstuffs into the refrigerator.
The door may not have been closed properly.
The door gaskets may be damaged.
The refrigerator may not be ventilated.
There may be insufficient clearance between the refrigerator and the surfaces Immediately on both sides and above.
The temperature control dial may not be set properly
  4. WHEN THE DEFROSTING WATER OVERFLOWS INSIDE THE REFRIGERATOR AND ONTO THE FLOOR.
Check that the drain pipe and the drain hose are not clogged.
Check that the drain pan is housed properly.
  5. WHEN CONDENSATION FORMS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE REFRIGERATOR
Condensation may form on the outside when the humidity is high such as during a wet season.
This is the same result as the condensation formed when chilled water is poured into a glass.
It does not, therefore, indicate a failure, wipe dry with a dry cloth.
  6. WHEN YOU HEAR A SOUND LIKE WATER FLOWING
A sound like water flowing is the refrigerant flowing.

  • Only use salt specifically designed for use in dishwashers! All other types of salt not specifically designed for use in a dishwasher, especially table salt, will damage the water softener. in case of damages caused by the use of unsuitable salt the manufacturer does not give any warranty nor is liable for any caused damages.
  • Only fill with salt just before starting one of the complete washing programmes. This will prevent any grains of salt or salty water, which may have been split, remaining of the bottom of the machine for any period of time, which may cause corrosion.

WARNINGNOTE:

  1. The salt container must only be refilled when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on. Depending on how fully the salt dissolves, the salt warning light may still be on even though the salt container is filled.
If there is no salt warning light in the control panel (For some Models),you can judge when to load the salt into the softener by the cycles that the dishwasher had run.

Fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

Rinse Aid Dispenser

The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on your dishes. That can leave spots and streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to sheet off the dishes. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aids. The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser. To fill the dispenser, open the cap and pour the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level indicator turns completely black. The volume of the rinse aid container is about 110ml.

The function of Rinse Aid
Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spot and streak free drying.

Attention!
Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances (e.g. Dishwasher cleaning agent, liquid detergent). This would damage the appliance.

When to Refill the Rinse Aid Dispenser
If there is no rinse-aid warning light in the control panel, you can judge the amount of rinse-aid by the color of the optical level indicator C located next to the cap. When the rinse-aid container is full, the whole indicator will be dark. As the rinse-aid diminishes, the size of the dark dot decreases. You should never let the rinse aid get below 1 / 4 full.

How to fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

  1. To open the dispenser, turn the cap to the “open” (left) arrow and lift it out.
  2. Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser, being careful not to overfill.
  3. Replace the cap by inserting it aligned with “open” arrow and turning it to the closed (right) arrow.

WARNINGNOTE: Clean up any rinse aid spill during filling with an absorbent cloth to avoid excessive foaming during the next wash. Don’t forget to replace the cap before you close dishwasher door.

Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser

The rinse aid dispenser has six or four settings. Always start with the dispenser set on “4”. If spots and poor drying are a problem, increase the amount of rinse aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to “5”. If the dishes still are not drying properly or are spotted, adjust the dial to the next higher number until your dishes are spot-free. The recommended setting is “4”. (Factory value is “4”.)

WARNING NOTE:

Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Reduce it if there are sticky whitish stains on your dishes or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades.

Detergent

Detergents with have chemical ingredients that are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. Most of the commercial quality detergents are suitable for this purpose.

Normally new pulverised detergent is without phosphate. The water softener function of
phosphate is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the salt container even when
the hardness of water is only 6 dH. If detergents without phosphate were used in case of hard water often white spots appear at dishes and glasses. In this case please add more detergent to reach better results. Detergents without chlorine do only bleach a little. Strong and coloured spots will not removed completely. In this case please choose a programme with higher Temperature.

Concentrated Detergent

Based on their chemical composition, dishwasher can be split in two basic types:

  • conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic components
  • low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes

Detergent Tablets

Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds. For this reason some detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop their full cleaning power during short programmes. Therefore please use long programmes when using detergent tablets, to ensure the complete removal of detergent residuals.

WARNINGNOTE: Detergent tablets are only for the models with 3 in 1 function or 3 in 1 program.

Detergent Dispenser

The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructions provided in the Wash Cycle Table . Your dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid then a conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Also, more heavily soiled items need more detergent. Always add the detergent just before starting the dishwasher, otherwise it could get damp and will not dissolve properly.

Amount of Detergent to Use

WARNING NOTE:

  • If the lid is closed: press release button. The lid springs open.
  • Always add the detergent just before starting each wash cycle.
  • Only use branded detergent aid for dishwasher.

WARNINGWARNING!

Dishwasher detergent is corrosive!
Take care to keep it out of reach of children.

Proper Use of Detergent

Use only detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers. Keep your detergent fresh and dry. Don’t put powder detergent into the dispenser until you’re ready to wash dishes.

Fill in detergent

Fill the detergent dispenser with detergent. The marking indicates the dosing levels , as illustrated on right:
A The place of main wash cycle detergent placed.
B The place of pre-wash cycle detergent placed.

Please observe the manufacturers dosing and storage recommendations as stated on the detergent packaging.

Close the lid and press until it locks in place.

If the dishes are heavily soiled, place an additional
detergent dose in the pre-wash detergent chamber. This detergent will take effect during the pre-wash phase.

WARNING NOTE:

  • You find information about the amount of detergent for the single programme on the last page.
  • Please aware, that according to the level soiling and the specific hardness of water differences are possible.
  • Please observe the manufacturer’s recommendations on the detergent packaging.

I plug it into my normal power outlet(USA) and it works. No idea about hertz. Its a Great dishwasher BTW. At least with Cascade platinum pods.

Do you have to shut the water off to get the door open at then end of the cycle?

Yes you should turn the water off before opening. also release the pressure from the hose.

How many gallon wash cycle does it have

1

Can this be used with a sink that has a sprayer?

Yes. You attach to the faucet not sprayer.

Did it come with liquid jet dry dispenser?

No

Does this sterilize or sanitize dishes?

Yes it heat dries dishes at the end of the cycle

Can this unit be “built in” ? I have a small cabinet beside the sink

If the cabinet has space for the hoses to come out either in back or below. But still not really

Is this a built in or countertop?

This is a countertop unit.

Is there a way to pause before the cycle is finished ?

Yes the start button doubles as a pause button, also the door doesn’t lock so if you open it while running it automatically pauses.

What thread size is the end of the input hose? Is it G 1/2 or no? What adapter will work?

I just bought the adapter located on the Amazon page. At the bottom it says customers also bought this. So I bought that one and it worked.

On which side of the unit is the steam vent port? Don’t want hot wet air directly on my walls.

No steam vent. the steam just comes out when you open it…

Does this need to be professionally installed because it’s 220V?

NO.

NOTE: If your model have no water softener, you may skip this section.
A. Loading the Salt Into the Softener
Always use salt intended for use with dishwasher. The salt container is located beneath the basket and should be filled as follows:
Attention!
Only use salt specifically designed for use in dishwashers! All other types of salt not specifically designed for use in a dishwasher, especially table salt, will damage the water softener. in case of damages caused by the use of unsuitable salt the manufacturer does not give any warranty nor is liable for any caused damages. Only fill with salt just before starting one of the complete washing programmes. This will prevent any grains of salt or salty water, which may have been split, remaining of the bottom of the machine for any period of time, which may cause corrosion.

A Remove the basket and then unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container.

1

B Before first wash, add 1lt. of water in the salt container of your machine.

C Place the end of the funnel (supplied) into the hole and introduce about 1kg of salt.

It is normal for a small amount of water to come out of the salt container. 2

D After filling the container , screw the cap tightly back clockwise.

E Usually, the salt warning light will be cease to be illuminated within 2-6 days after the salt container has been filled with

salt.

F Immediately after filling the salt into the salt container, a washing programme should be started (Suggest choose rapid

programme). Otherwise filter system, pump or other important parts of the machine may be damaged by salty

water. It is out of warranty.

NOTE:
2. If there are spills of the salt, a soak or a rapid program should be run to remove the excess salt.

Function of Rinse Aid
Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spot and streak free drying.
5

Attention!
Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances (e.g. Dishwasher cleaning agent, liquid detergent). This would damage the appliance.

When to Refill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

If there is no rinse-aid warning light in the control panel, you can judge the amount of rinse-aid by the color

of the optical level indicator CC located next to the cap. When the rinse-aid container is full, the whole

indicator will be dark .As the rinse-aid diminishes, the size of the dark dot decreases. You should never let

the rinse aid get below 1 / 4 full.

C (Rinse-Aid indicator)

As the rinse aid diminishes, the size of the black dot on the rinse aid level indicator changes, as illustrated below.
Full 3 / 4 ful l 1 / 2 ful l 1 / 4 full – Should refill to eliminate spotting Empty

1

2

3

1 To open the dispenser, turn the cap to the “open” (left) arrow and lift it out. 2 Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser, being careful not to overfill. 3 Replace the cap by inserting it aligned with “open” arrow and turning it to the closed (right) arrow.

NOTE: Clean up any rinse aid split during filling with an absorbent cloth to avoid excessive foaming
during the next wash. Don’t forget to replace the cap before you close dishwasher door.

Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser

Adjust lever (Rinse)

The rinse aid dispenser has six or four settings. Always start with the dispenser set on “4”. If spots and poor drying are problems, increase the amount of rinse aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to “5”. If the dishes still are not drying properly or are spotted, adjust the dial to the next higher number until your dishes are spot-free. The recommended setting is “4”. (Factory value is “4”.)

MAX

NOTE:
Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Reduce it if there are sticky whitish stains on your dishes or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades.

C. Function of Detergent
Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. Most of commercial quality detergents are suitable for this purpose.

6

Normally new pulverised detergent is without phosphate. The water softener function of phosphate is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the salt container even when the hardness of water is only 6 dH.
Based on their chemical composition, dishwasher can be split in two basic types: conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic components low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes
NOTE: Detergent tablets are only for the models with 3 in 1 function or 3 in 1 program.

Detergent Dispenser
The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructions provided in the Wash Cycle Table . Your dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid then conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Also, more heavily soiled items need more detergent. Always add the detergent just before starting the dishwasher, otherwise it could get damp and will not dissolve properly.

Push latch to open

Detergent powder Detergent tablet

NOTE:

If the lid is closed: press release button. The lid springs open. Always add the detergent just before starting each wash cycle. Only use branded detergent aid for dishwasher.
7

WARNING!
Dishwasher detergent is corrosive! Take care to keep it out of reach of children.

Proper Use of Detergent Use only detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers.

AB

Please observe the manufacturers dosing and storage Recommendations as stated on the detergent packaging.

Close the lid and press until it locks in place.

If the dishes are heavily soiled, place an additional detergent dose in the pre-wash detergent chamber. This detergent will take effect during the pre-wash phase.

NOTE:
You find information about the amount of detergent for the single programme on the last page. Please aware, that according to the level soiling and the specific hardness of water differences are possible. Please observe the manufacturer’s recommendations on the detergent packaging.

5.Loading the Dishwasher Baskets

Recommendation
Consider buying utensils which are identified as dishwasher-proof. Use a mild detergent that is described as ‘kind of dishes’. If necessary, seek further information from detergent manufacturers. For particular items, select a programme with as low a temperature. To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immediately after the programme has ended.

For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery/dishes

Are not suitable
Cutlery with wooden, horn china or mother-of-pearl handles Plastic items that are not heat resistant Older cutlery with glued parts that is not temperature resistant Bonded cutlery items or dishes Pewter or copper items crystal glass Steel items subject to rusting Wooden platters Items made from synthetic fibres

Are of limited suitability
Some types of glasses can become dull after a large number of washes Silver and aluminium parts have a tendency to discolour during washing Glazed patterns may fade if machine washed frequently
8

Attention before or after loading the Dishwasher Baskets
(For best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Features and appearance of baskets and cutlery baskets may vary from your model.) Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. Soften remnants of burnt food in pans It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water. Place objects in the dishwasher in following way: 1.Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. are face down. 2.Curved items, or those with recesses, should be loaded at a slant so that water can run off. 3.All utensils are stacked securely and can not tip over. 4.All utensils are placed in the way that the spray arms can rotated freely during washing.
NOTE: Very small items should not be washed in the dishwasher as they could easily fall out of the basket.
Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. With the opening downwards so that water cannot collect in the container or a deep base. Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other. To avoid damage to glasses, they must not touch. Load large items which are most difficult to clean into the basket. Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard! Long and/or sharp items of cutlery such as carving knives must be positioned horizontally in the basket. Please do not overload your dishwasher. This is important for good results and for reasonable energy consume.

7.Maintenance and Cleaning

Filtering System

The filter prevent larger remnants of food or other objects from getting inside the pump.

The filter system consists of a coarse filter, a flat (Main filter)

and a micro filter (fine filter).

C

A Main filter

Food and soil particles trapped by this filter are pulverized by a

special jet on the spray arm and washed down to drain.

B

B Fine filter

This filter holds soil and food residue in the sump area and

prevents it from being deposited on the dishes during wash cycle.

A
Filter assembly

C Coarse filter
Larger items, such as pieces of bone or glass, that could block the drain are trapped in the coarse filter. To remove the items caught by the filter, gently squeeze the tap on the top of this filter and lift out.

The filter efficiently removes food particles from the wash water, allowing it to be re-cyclated during the cycle. For best performance and results, the filter assembly must be regularly. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove the larger food particles trapping in the filter after each wash cycle by rinsing the filter and cup under running water. To remove the filter assembly, pull on the cup handle in the upward direction.

WARNING!

Never run the dishwasher without the filters in place. The dishwasher must never be used without the filters. Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the performance level of the appliance and damage dishes and utensils.

CANDY OVENS Instructions

Safety Indications

  •  During cooking, moisture may condense inside the oven cavity or on the glass of the door. This is a normal condition. To reduce this effect, wait 10 15 minutes after turning on the power before putting food inside the oven. ln any case, the condensation disappears when the oven reaches the cooking temperature.
  • Cook the vegetables in a container with a lid instead of an open tray.
  •  Avoid leaving food inside the oven after cooking for more than 15/20 minutes.
  • the appliance and accessible parts become hot during use. Be careful not to touch any hot parts.
  • the accessible parts can become hot when the grill is in use. Children should be kept at a safe distance.
  • ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the bulb, to avoid the possibility of electric shocks.
  • in order to avoid any danger caused by the accidental resetting of the thermal interruption device, the appliance should not be powered by an external switching device, such as a timer, or be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off.
  •  Children under 8 should be kept at a safe distance from the appliance if not continuously supervised.
  •  Children should not play with the appliance.
  •  The appliance can be used by those aged 8 or over and by those with limited physical, sensorial or mental capacities, without experience or knowledge of the product, only if supervised or provided with instruction as to the operation of the appliance, in a safe way withawareness of the  possible risks.
  •  Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
  • Do not use rough or abrasive materials or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glasses, as they can scratch the surface and cause the glass to shatter.
  •  The oven must be switched off before removing the removable parts. After cleaning, reassemble them according the instructions
  • Only use the meat probe recommended for this oven.
  •  Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning operations.
  •  Connect a plug to the supply cable that is able to bear the voltage, current and load indicated on the tag and having the earth contact. The socket must be suitable for the load indicated on the tag and must have ground  contact connected and in operation. The earth conductor is yellow-green in colour. This operation should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional. ln case of incompatibility between the socket and the appliance plug, ask a qualified electrician to substitute the socket with another suitable type. The plug and the socket must be conformed to the current norms of the installation country. Connection to the power source can also be made by placing an omnipolar breaker between the appliance and the power source that can bear the maximum connected load and that is in line with current legislation. The yellow-green earth cable should not be interrupted by the breaker.  The socket or omnipolar breaker used for the connection should be easily accessible when the appliance is installed.
  •  The disconnection may be achieved by having the plug accessible or by incorporating a switch in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
  •  lf the power cable is damaged, it should be substituted with a cable or special bundle available from the manufacturer or by contacting the customer service department. The type of power cable must be
H05V2V2-F. This operation should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional. The earth conductor (yellow-green) must be approximately 10 mm longer than the other conductors. For any repairs, refer only to the Customer Care Department and request the use of original spare parts.

  • The appliance must not be installed behind a decorative door in order to avoid overheating.
  •  When you place the shelf inside, make sure that the stop is directed upwards and in the back of the cavity. The shelf must be inserted completely into the cavity.
  •  Do not line the oven walls with aluminium foil or single-use protection available from stores. Aluminium foil or any other protection, in direct contact with the hot enamel, risk melting and deteriorating the enamel of the insides.
  • Never remove the oven door seal.
  • Do not refill the cavity bottom with water during cooking or when the oven is hot.
  •  No additional operation/setting is required in order to operate  the appliance at the rated frequencies.

General Instructions

  • We thank you for choosing one of our products.
  • For the best results with your oven, you should read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
  • Before installing the oven, take note of the serial  number so that you can give it to customer service staff if any repairs are required.
  • Having removed the oven from its packaging, check that it has not been damaged during transportation. If you have doubts, do not use the oven and refer to a qualified technician for advice.
  • Keep all of the packaging material (plastic bags, polystyrene, nails) out of the reach of children.
  • When the oven is switched on for the first time, strong smelling smoke can develop, which is caused by the glue on the insulation panels surrounding the oven heating for the first time.
  • This is absolutely normal and, if it occurs, you should wait for the smoke to dissipate before putting food in the oven.
  • The manufacturer accepts no responsibility in cases where the instructions contained in this document are not observed.

NOTE: the oven functions, properties and accessories cited in this manual will vary, depending on the model you have purchased.

Safety Indications

Only use the oven for its intended purpose, that is only for the cooking of foods; any other use, for example as a heat source, is considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from improper, incorrect or unreasonable usage.
The use of any electrical appliance implies the observance of some fundamental rules:

  •  do not pull on the power cable to disconnect the plug from the socket;
  •  do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet;
  •  in general the use of adaptors, multiple sockets and extension cables is not recommended;
  •  in case of malfunction and/or poor operation, switch off the appliance and do not tamper with it.
Electrical Safety

ENSURE THAT AN ELECTRICIAN OR QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN MAKES THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS.

The power supply to which the oven is connected must conform with the laws in force in the country of installation. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by the failure to observe these instructions. The oven must be connected to an electrical supply with an earthed wall outlet or a disconnector with multiple poles, depending on the laws in force in the country of installation. The electrical supply should be protected with suitable fuses and the cables used must have a transverse section that can ensure correct supply to the oven.

CONNECTION

The oven is supplied with a power cable that should only be connected to an electrical supply with 220- 240 Vac power between the phases or between the phase and neutral. Before the oven is connected to the electrical supply, it is important to check:

  •  power voltage indicated on the gauge;
  •  the setting of the disconnector.

The grounding wire connected to the oven’s earth terminal must be connected to the earth terminal of the power supply.

Before connecting the oven to the power supply, ask a qualified electrician to check the continuity of the power supply’s earth terminal. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any accidents or other problems caused by failure to connect the oven to the earth terminal or by an earth connection that has defective continuity.

NOTE: as the oven could require maintenance work, it is advisable to keep another wall socket available so that the oven can be connected to this if it is  removed from the space in which it is installed. The power cable must only be substituted by technical service staff or by technicians with equivalent qualifications.

A low light around the central main switch could be present when the oven is off. This is a normal behavior. I can be removed just turning the plug upside down or swapping the supply terminals.

Recommendations

After each use of the oven, a minimum of cleaning will help keep the oven perfectly clean. Do not line the oven walls with aluminium foil or single-use protection available from stores. Aluminium foil or any other protection, in direct contact with the hot enamel, risks melting and deteriorating the enamel of the insides. In order to prevent excessive dirtying of your oven and the  resulting strong  smokey smells, we recommend not using the oven at very high temperature. It is better to extend the cooking time and lower the temperature a little. In addition to the accessories supplied with the oven, we advise you only use dishes and baking moulds resistant to very high temperatures.

Installation

The manufacturers have no obligation to carry this out. If the assistance of the manufacturer is required to rectify faults arising from incorrect installation, this  assistance is not covered by the guarantee. The installation instructions for professionally qualified personnel must be followed. Incorrect installation  may cause harm or injury to people, animals or belongings. The manufacturer  cannot be held responsible for such harm or injury.

The oven can be located high in a column or under a worktop. Before fixing, you must ensure good ventilation in the oven space to allow proper circulation of the fresh air required for cooling and protecting the internal parts. Make the openings specified on last page according to the type of fitting.

Waste management and environmental protection

This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU regarding electric and electronic appliances (WEEE). The WEEE contain both polluting substances (that can have a negative effect on the environment) and base elements (that can be   reused). It is important that the WEEE undergo specific treatments to correctly remove and dispose of the pollutants and recover all the materials. Individuals can play an important role in ensuring that the WEEE do not become an environmental problem; it is essential t  follow a few basic rules:

  • The WEEE should not be treated as domestic waste;
  •  The WEEE should be taken to dedicated collection areas managed by the town council or a registered company.

In many countries, domestic collections may be available for large WEEEs. When you buy a new appliance, the old one can be returned to the vendor who must accept it free of charge as a one-off, as long as the appliance is of an equivalent type and has the same functions as the purchased appliance.

SAVING AND RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Where possible, avoid pre-heating the oven and always try to fill it. Open the oven door as infrequently as possible, because heat from the cavity disperses every time it is opened. For a significant energy  saving, switch off the oven between 5 and 10 minutes before the planned end of the cooking time, and use the residual heat that the oven continues to generate. Keep the seals clean and in order, to avoid any heat dispersal outside of the cavity. If you have an electric contract with an hourly tariff, the “delayed cooking” programme makes energy saving more simple, moving the cooking process to start at the reduced tariff time slot.

Declaration of compliance
  • By placing the mark on the appliance, we are confirming compliance to all relevant European safety, health and environmental requirements which are applicable in legislation for this product.
