The BY-BM6040 is a cardioid shotgun microphone that captures natural-sounding audio for broadcast, TV shoots, location shooting, documentaries, and more.

The microphone is in compliance with 12-48V external phantom power making it ideal for use with video cameras and portable recording devices. Its rugged alloy aluminum construction ensures a great free-interference capability during recording. With a full frequency response from 90 Hz to 20 kHz, the mic delivers exceptional sound reproduction with full lows, clear and precise mids, and crisp highs. There is a high-pass filter at 150 Hz that minimizes unwanted noise and rumble.

The BOYA BY-DM100-OP is a digital shotgun condenser microphone, specially designed for DJI OSMO™ Pocket.
The professional microphone offers up to 24bit/96kHz resolution and a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz that captures crisp and pristine sound.
This lightweight shotgun microphone mounts to DJI OSMO’” Pocket directly, and significantly improved sound quality compared to the built-in mics on these devices. Plug-and-play operation makes it extremely easy to use right out of the box. With no batteries to install and plug-and-play operation, you can immediately start recording your videos immediately.
With the foam windscreen, it allows to prevent the unwanted vocal plosive and wind noise, increasing the intelligibility of dialogue and focusing on the subject.

Using the microphone

1. Connect BY-DM100-0P to Type-C port on DJI OSMO™ Pocket.
2. When the Osmo Pocket shows “Audio Adapter Connected and Microphone Connected,” it gets ready to start recording.
   

   

Tips and notes

NOTE:
The BY-DM100-0P only supports the DJI OSMO™ Pocket to use while taking video, so it is not suited for DJI other series or the Type-C devices.

The BY-BM6060 focuses on super-cardioid characteristics and resistance to low-noise circuitry noise, it’s well-suited to a variety of applications from independent films, TV programs to documentaries.

Initiate switchable high-pass filter control to roll of the lowfrequency noise at 1 SOHz such as rumbles and traffic.
Its 3-pin XLR output is in compliance with 24-48V phantom power supply. When your devices aren’t phantom powered, the BY-BM6060 can be powered by one AA battery.

In addition, the BY-BM6060 includes a fur windshield and foam windscreen for an intelligible sound effect and secure protection.

Installing the battery

1. Unscrew the microphone by rotating the base clockwise and pull out the cover properly to reveal the battery compartment .
2. Insert one AA battery into the compartment aligning as the right polarity.
3. Close the compartment and rotate it anticlockwise to tighten it.

Operation

Mounting the microphone to your Clothing

• Attach the microphone to the front of your clothing with the clothing clip, about 20cm (8 inches) from your face.
  1. Attach the microphone upside down to reduce excessive breath noises and tonal inconsistencies due to head movements.
  2. It is recommended that you use the foam wind screen at all times to avoid wind noise, even when recording inside.

Tips and notes:

1. If there’s difference between computer and instruction, please refer to actual condition.

The BOYA BY-PM700 is a USB condenser microphone and is compatible with Windows and Mac Computers. Its polar pattern knob lets you opt for Omni-directional, Cardioid, Stereo and bi-directional pickup modes, suit for various situations, such as recording, interviews, conference calls, vocals, instruments, podcasting, and more.
This mic can capture your audio in up to 16 bit/48 kHz resolution, and it features to gain control, mute button, zero-latency headphone output.
This mic has durable all-metal construction, includes a desk stand that can adjust the microphone in various desired angles, also the functionality of folding the mic down for storage and transport as well.

Specifications:

How to use

1. Unscrew the knobs of both sides anti-clockwise.
2. Adjust the microphone at your desired angle, then screw the knobs of both sides at anti-clockwise to fix the microphone.
3. Plug the mini USB of the supplied cable into the USB port of the microphone, and connect the other plug into the available USB port of your computer.
4. Connect your headphone to 3.5mm headphone output if needed.

Set Up for Windows 10

1. Connect the microphone with a USB port on your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2. Go to “Setting”, choose “Sound” as shown below.
3. Select “Speaker BY-PM700” as an Output device.
4. Select “Microphone BY-PM700” as an Input device.

Set Up for Windows 8

1. Connect the microphone with a USB port on your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2. From the “Setting Menu”, select the “Control Panel”.
3. Go to “Control Panel” , select “Hardware and Sound”
   
4. Select “Sound”
   
5. Select “Speaker BY-PM700” as the default device in the “Sound”, under “Playback” menu.
   
6. Select “Microphone BY-PM700” as the default device in the “Sound”, under “Recording” menu.

Setup for Apple System

1. Connect the BOYA BY-PM700 to an unused USB port on your computer.
2.  Go to Apple Icon–>System Preferences–>Sound Icon.
   
3. Select “BY-PM700” under the “Input” tab.
   
4. Select “BY-PM700” under the “Output” tab.
   

IMPORTANT

• If you do not intend to use the conference microphone for a long period of time, please remove the USB cable.
• Do not touch the microphone while recording, as this will cause noise to be recorded.
• Do not let the microphone close to high-voltage equipment or to devices that emit strong electromagnetic fields,
  otherwise, it may cause the noise to be recorded.
• Do not use or leave the microphone in hot, humid places.

MAINTENANCE

• Do not operate the device with wet hands or feet.
• Clean the equipment only in the way described in the instructions for use.
