Charging

How to perform the battery installation?

  1. Open the battery case and insert two AAA batteries and close the case.
  2. Keep the remote controller within 5m range, aiming around 30 degree at the unit.

Note: It is advisable to remove the batteries when the unit is not being used for a long period of time.

Poor Sound Quality

What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.
  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.
  4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.
  5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.
  6. Check if the speaker does not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

What to do if the speaker is occasionally keeps disconnecting?

  1. Check if restarting the speaker resolves the issue.
  2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.
  3. Check if there are any obstructions between the speaker and the device, move the device at a closer range to the speaker and see if it still affects it.
  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

What to do if there is no sound from the speaker?

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  2. Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e., the jack is properly inserted into the device for AUX, SD card is properly functioning for SD mode, properly paired for Bluetooth mode.
  3. Try connecting through a different connection mode or media device.
  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
Connectivity

How to pair the speaker via Bluetooth mode?

  1. To switch to Bluetooth mode, turn ON the Bluetooth functionality on your phone or media device.
  2. Search for “Blitz 2000” from the list of available devices nearby and selevct the same.

What to do if the device cannot find “Blitz 2000” on Bluetooth?
The speaker may not be in pairing mode. Check by tapping the Mode button or restart the speaker to search again.

How can I connect via AUX mode?

  1. Connect the sound bar to your PC, tablet, smartphone, TV, or other device using the included audio cable. Short-press the mode button to switch to audio input mode with the LED Display showing AUX.
  2. In this mode, playback can only be controlled on your connected device.

​What to do if the Aux mode is not working?

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue and if the speaker is in Aux mode by short pressing the ‘Mode’ button.
  2. Check if you have connected the aux cable properly and in the correct orientation on both ends.
  3. Check if the problem persists even after using a different cable or different device to connect to the speaker.

How to play via USB Mode?

  1. Connect a USB drive to the speaker and switch to USB mode to play songs from USB.
  2. Please note that the USB drive must be in FAT32 format and the songs are placed in the root folder i.e., not inside any subfolder on the USB drive.

How to play via SD Card Mode?

  1. Insert a SD Card and press the mode button on the speaker to switch to SD Mode, the display will show SD (this mode isn’t selectable on the speaker or remote control unless a USB flash drive is connected).
  2. Ensure that your SD Card contains MP3 or WMA audio files (other file types not supported) and they are in the root folder of the drive and not inside any subfolder.
  3. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port on the speaker.
  4. The remote control includes SD input mode playback controls.
Other Functional Issues

What to do if the Remote control is not working?

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
  2. Check if the device is in aux mode because the remote buttons will not work in aux mode
  3. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players
  4. Check if the remote control has been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards
  5. Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.
  6. Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.
  7. Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.
  8. Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type, try to replace the battery.
  9. Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

What to do if device does not turn on / not working?

  1. Check by switching the speaker on manually, press and hold the power on button for at least 3 seconds.
  2. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

What to do if the in-built controls of the speaker is not working?

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
  2. Check if the device is in aux mode because the buttons will not work in aux mode
  3. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

What to do if the satellites of the speaker are not working?

  1. Check that the satellites are properly connected to the input slots on the back-panel subwoofer using the wires attached to them.
  2. Try to detach and reconnect the satellites again
  3. Try restarting the speaker or re-plugging it into the power socket.

What to do if there are any other functional issues with Stone speaker?

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  2. Try connecting through a different connection mode or media device.
FM Functionality

How to play via FM Mode?

  1. The remote has different buttons for the same, please refer to the remote guide.
  2. Please make sure while using the FM mode that the antenna is adjusted accordingly to catch a good signal otherwise there will be interference.

What to do if the FM sounds distorted/ not able to catch FM signals/ FM channels not appearing?

  1. Please make sure the attached FM signal wire is in a suitable position to catch FM signals, i.e., nearby balconies or open areas where the signal is clear. If the signal is still distorted try adjusting the wire position or speaker position and see if it improves.
  2. Use the play/pause button on the speaker or remote to auto-search the channels again and see if they pop up.
    The tune button on the remote or the next button on the speaker can be used to surf through the available channels.

Does it have FM?
Yes, it does have an in-built FM.

How many EQ modes does it have?
Blitz 2000 comes with support for multiple EQ modes that include Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country. One also has full control over the bass with a bass knob to increase or decrease bass level.

Does Blitz 2000 have Dolby Atmos?
No Blitz 2000 does not come with Dolby Atmos support​

Does Blitz 2000 have an HDMI port?
No Blitz 2000 does not have an HDMI port.

Device Controls

Can the RGB lights be used as disco lights?
No, the RGB lights cannot be used as ambient disco lights.

What are the controls of Subwoofer Front Control Panel?

  1. Mode Button: Single tap to switch playback mode among BT/ USB/ SD/ FM/ AUX modes.
  2. Volume Down(-): Tap to decrease the volume.
  3. Volume Up (+): Tap to increase the volume.
  4. USB Input: USB Port

​How to set up Blitz 2000?

  1. Plug the cable of the satellite speakers in to the output jack on the rear panel of the subwoofer.
  2. The audio cable has not been plugged in to the input jack on the rear panel of the subwoofer for the AUX mode.
  3. Plug the power cord in to the power socket and switch ON the unit, the front panel LED lights up in Yellow and the unit automatically enters into Bluetooth mode.
  4. You can use the volume buttons on the remote controller or the subwoofer to control the volume levels.
  5. You can control the bass viathe BASS Knob present on the subwoofer.
  6. You can press the Mode button on the subwoofer or Input button on the remote controller to cycle through BT, AUX, USB, SD Card and FM Modes.

How to adjust the Bass?

  1. The treble and bass +/- buttons can be used on the remote to adjust treble and bass according to preference.
  2. The remote has an EQ button to change the equaliser settings as required for the optimal media experience.

Does it work with Non-Smart TVs / TVs without Bluetooth?
Yes, it does work via AUX.​

Does it work on devices other than TV/PC?​
It does Work with devices with Bluetooth or Aux connectivity.​

Is it Wall Mountable?
No. It is not Wall Mountable.

Can the speaker be used for gaming?
Blitz 2000 comes with support for many forms of media entertainment. However, it is not meant to be used for hardcore gaming.

Water/Dust Protection

Cen the speaker be submerged in water or can be used under water?
No. The speaker does not have any water protection certification. So, any contact with water or any kind of liquid will damage the product.

boat Airdopes 281 Twin Wireless Ear-buds User Guide

Get ready to immerse yourself in musical bliss with your very own pair of boAt Airdopes 281. Please consider this manual as your guiding map towards the shores of musical bliss. Knowledge of Bluetooth and device connectivity is essential for steering this boat and therefore we strongly recommend thorough reading of this manual; also, you may refer to the same at times when you face any sort of difficulty in future.

Power On (First Time User)

Step 1: To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take them out from the charging case


OR
To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in blue


Step 2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating blue and red LED flashes.

Connection Mode

Step 3: Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan
Step 4: Search for ‘Airdopes 281’ and pair accordingly. Enter ‘0000’as the passkey if asked.
Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected successfully via Bluetooth

Note:

  •  Pairing mode lasts for 180 seconds. if the pairing time is missed then you will need to reconnect the earbuds and follow the above mentioned procedure
  • Airdopes 281 remembers previously connected devices; once switched on, the earbuds automatically reconnect to the previously connected devices.

LED Indicators / Functionalities

  1. 2 Seconds
    Long Press CTC on either earbud for 2 Seconds to activate Voice Assistant. / Reject incoming Calls.
  2. 3 Seconds
    Manual Power ON: Blue/Red Lights will Blink.
  3. 5 Seconds
    Scan Mode: Manual Power OFF Red Lights will Blink.
  4. 5 Seconds
    Factory Reset: Put the earbuds inside (While Earbuds case and Long Press CTC for 5 second Inside Case) Blue/Red Lights will Blink on both Earbuds.

NOTE: Factory Reset will remove all device profiles saved on the Airdopes 281

Single Earbud Usage

Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options; Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud
Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternating blue and red
LED flashes
Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for’Airdopes 281’to connect.

Notes:

  • To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage
  • You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.

Charging The Earbuds

Step 1: Please insert the earbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation.
Step 2: A red LED will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged the LED turns off. Step 3: Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power.

Charging The Case

Step 1:To charge the case, plug one end of the Type-C cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter.
Step 2:The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case. The indicator in the case blinks red in colour during charge. When the case has been charged fully the red light gets steady.

Basic Functions

  • Voice Assistant: Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant
  • Answer/Hang Up Call: Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once again to hang up an ongoing call
  • Reject Call: Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to reject incoming calls
  • Play/Pause Music: Single tap the left/right earbuds CTC once to play or pause a song
  • Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right earbuds CTC to skip to the next song
  • Previous Track: When playing music, double tap the left earbuds CTC to return to the previous song

Note: Volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted via phone/media device

Voice Assistant

Step 1: Long Press the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant
Step 2:
The respective voice assistant screen pops up and you may place your commands at ease

“Where are Pyramids located?

Smart Power Off

Step 1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears Step 2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation
Step 3:The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode)

Manual Power Off
Step 1: Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 5 seconds until the red indicator light blinks before earbuds getting turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds. Please note that this powers off both the earbuds
Step 2: Please keep the earbuds back into the charging case to charge the earbuds

Factory Reset

Perform the Factory Reset in case you face any difficulty while operating your Airdopes 281

  1. Put the earbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation; the red LED gets steady indicating they are being charged
  2. Try to push the earbuds lightly inside the charging case and hold them in correct orientation to keep them steady and in place; then keeping them in place, triple tap the CTC on both the earbuds. LED flashes red twice and then red LED is steady.
  3. Take out both the earbuds from the case, LEDs start flashing in blue until both the earbuds’ LED flash blue & red.Then double tap the CTC on both earbuds, blue LED flashes twice then turns into steady blue. This indicates that the left and right earbuds are ready to pair with each other
  4. Once the right earbud’s LED flashes in blue & red, it indicates that both the earbuds have successfully paired with each other 5. Congratulations! Your Airdopes 281 has successfully been reset.

Common Problem with Solution

  •  If only one earbud is functioning: Simply insert the earbuds back into the case and take them out or perform the Factory Reset
  •  If earbuds are not in scan mode: Simply insert the earbuds back into the case and take them out or perform the Factory Reset

Charging

How can I charge the case?
To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

How to charge the earbuds?

  1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.
  2. A solid Green LED will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged, the LED indicator goes off.
  3. Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power.​

Note: Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds. Also, please keep the lid of the charging case closed. While charging and use a 5V/2A adaptor.

What to do if the charging case is not charging?

  1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.
  2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

What to do if the earbuds are not charging?

  1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds.
  2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
  3. lean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector place on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again
  4. After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.
  5. After cleaning, put the right earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.
  6. Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

What to do if the earbuds not charging while inside the charging case even when the case is charged?

  1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.
  2. heck if the charging pin of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.
  3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.
  4. Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.
Device Controls

How to Power ON/OFF Airdopes 701 ANC?
1. Power ON:
Step 1: To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of the charging case (when earbuds are inside). Our IWP™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) Technology enables the earbuds to power on automatically, get connected and enter into the connection mode. OR Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 3 seconds to manually power on the earbuds.
Step 2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode indicated by 3 flashes of Green LED.

2. Power OFF:
Smart Power Off:
Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.
Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation.
Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode).

Manual Power Off:


Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbud for 8 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.
Step2: Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

How to factory reset my earbud?
Step-1: Clear the pairing records from your phone or media device and forget the device. Place both the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation to switch them off.
Step-2: Take out the earbuds from the case and Long press the CTC on both earbuds for 8 seconds till the led turns red. Then blinks green 3 times and then red again.
Step-3: Keep the earbuds back in the case and shut the lid again.
Step-4: Open the case lid again and they automatically restart and you can pair using IWP technology.
Step-5: Airdopes 701 ANC has been Reset and ready to pair.

​Below are the cases where factory reset may be helpful

  • One earbud is not working
  • Earbuds are not getting connected or scanned
  • Earbuds gets disconnected during a phone call
  • If there are exceptions in usage

How can I activate Voice Assistant?
Long tap and hold the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant

How to Answer/Hang Up Call?

How do I Reject a call?
Long press the CTC for 2 seconds to reject incoming calls.

How to Play/Pause Music?

How to change music tracks?

  1. When playing music, double press the right earbud’s MFB in order to skip to the next song on the playlist.
  2. When playing music, double press the left earbud’s MFB in order to return to the previous song on the playlist.

Note: Volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted via phone/media device.

How can I use a single earbud at a time?

Bluetooth Connectivity

What to do if the device is not connecting via Bluetooth?

  1. Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicating that by alternating green and red LED flashes on either earbud.
  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.
  3. Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections or not.
  4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.
  5. Check if the device being connected to does have any software issues or not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

What to do if the device is not entering stereo mode / is stuck in mono?

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.
  2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.
  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.
  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.
  5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

What to do if the device occasionally disconnects/ the right earbud keeps disconnecting?

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.
  3. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.
  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

Why is one side of my earbud not working?

Dysfunctional Voice Assistant

What to do if the voice assistant does not wake up?

  1. Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.
  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google
  3. Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device. Though under some circumstance, this feature may or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

What to do if the device does not turn ON?

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.
  3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.
  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
  5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

What to do if the in-built controls (CTC) of the device are not working?

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players
  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.
  4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.
Instant Pairing

What to do if Insta Wake & Pair (IWP) is not working for my Airdopes?

  1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.
  2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.
  3. Try factory-resetting the device.
  4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has battery in it to have IWP functioning.
Microphone Functionality

What to do if the voice is muffled during calls/ the microphone has muffled input?

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  2. Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

What is Insta Wake N’ Pair (IWP) technology?

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone, if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.
  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

How to enable IWP for my earbuds?
There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

Does the Airdopes 701 ANC support aptX codec by Qualcomm?
No. Airdopes 701 ANC does not support aptX codec by Qualcomm.

What is ANC Mode?
Airdopes 701 ANC offers ANC Mode for listening noiseless and disturbance less music. In this mode, through the earbuds only music/audio is sent to the user’s ears shutting all the outside environment sounds.

Can the volume of the earbuds be controlled through integrated controls?
No. The volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted via phone/media device.

What is Beast Mode?
Beast mode is meant to use for entertainment purposes like gaming / streaming of video / movies etc. It controls the latency of the earbuds synced with your device to make it best suitable for entertainment use. It considerably lessens the lag between the device and earbuds.

How to activate Beast Mode?
Tap on the left earbud’s CTC four times to activate Beast Mode and again four times tap to turn it off.

What is Crystal Mode?
Airdopes 701 ANC offers Crystal Mode for listening to the ambient sound near the user. User can hear the ambient sound clearly even if he/she is listening to the music via the earbuds. Foldable and Portable design

Power On:

Press and hold the MFB (Multifunction Button) for 3 seconds. The blue and red LED light will blink alternatively accompanied by a voice prompt “power on”

Power Off:

Press and hold the MFB for 3 second. A voice prompt power off” accompanied by quick flashes of red LED will indicate the device getting switched off.

Bluetooth Connectivity

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth in your phone and switch on Rockerz 450 Pro by long pressing the MFB for 3 seconds
  2. In case if the headphone is not in pairing mode, then don’t release the button and keep on long pressing the Power button for turning on the Bluetooth pairing mode in the headphone, until the indicator starts blinking in blue and red colours alternatively.
  3. Then, click on the headphones’Rockerz 450 Pro’ from the list of available devices after search
  4. If asked fora passkey, confirm the passkey’0000′ on phone
  5. Once confirmed, the headphone and phone get connected via Bluetooth indicated by a slowly flashing blue indicator Note: If there’s a connection history between the phone and the headphone, then they will automatically get reconnected in a working range

Charging

  • Connect one end of the provided cable to the USB Type C port on the headset and the other end to a wall adapter or laptop
  • While charging the indicator light will turn into steady red
  • When the headphone is fully charged, the indicator switches off
  • Use only authorized/company chargers for the headset, as unauthorized ones may damage the same and invalidate the warranty on the headset as well

Other Functions

  • When Line In inserting is detected, switch to line in mode and disconnect Bluetooth. To connect again to the Bluetooth, pull out the line in and reboot
  • If there’s no connection established when the Bluetooth is switched on then the device powers off automatically after a while
  • If you receive an incoming call during playing music, the music automatically disconnects. When the call is done and disconnected, the music starts to play automatically from where it left.

ANOMALIES & Solutions 

A. Mobile can’t search the headset

  • Check if the Bluetooth headset is powered on or off ( When powered on, the LEDs blink with red and blue colours alternatively)
  • If it is powered on and the device still can’t connect, then please reboot the Bluetooth device and the phone B. After connecting the headset with the phone, disconnection or noise occurs
  • This may be due to the low power of the headset. Please charge the Bluetooth headset.
  • There might be obstruction between the headset and the phone or the distance between them exceeds the maximum range for signal reception.

User Manual
Stone 1000 is IPX-5 water and dust resistant. To ensure your Stone 1000 is prepared for use in a wet environment, remove all cable connections and tightly close the lid. If the water lid is not properly closed, the speaker will not be water resistant.

CHARGING
Before using your Stone 1000, please charge it using the micro USB charging cable included in the package. Please note: Most USB chargers are compatible with Stone 1000. For optimal AC charging please use a 1.0A USB charger. Plug the small micro USB pin into the charger port on the side of the speaker and the other end of the cable (the standard USB 2.0 plug) into any standard USB port (such as a computer or USB charger). The LED light will automatically glow indicating charging mode. When it is fully charged, the LED indicator light will turn o. A full charge takes about 4 hours. The speaker can be charged while playing music. The battery of the speaker will be charged until the charging process completes.

PAIRING
Turn your speaker on. The Bluetooth LED indicator on the control panel will flash blue. Enable your Bluetooth device such as cell phones, tablets or other Bluetooth media and make sure it is in searching mode. Select “boAt Stone 1000 speaker” in the list shown in the Bluetooth device.
Note: – if your Bluetooth device version is below V2.0. please enter password “0000” for a connection. The speaker will automatically reconnect to last connected Bluetooth enabled audio device.

HANDS-FREE SPEAKERPHONE
You can use Stone 1000 as a portable speakerphone for incoming calls when connected wirelessly and outgoing calls via Bluetooth. Take your calls by pressing the “>ll”. Press once again for ending the call, double press “>ll” button to reject an incoming call. Music will resume automatically. To make a call, simply dial your cell phone and talk through the speaker. Once your call is connected chose Stone 1000 in the headset options.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
At any time during a phone call or while playing music the volume can be changed with the “+” or “-” button. To raise the volume press and hold the “+” for 1 second. To lower the volume press and hold “-” button for 1 second there will be a tone from the speaker to indicate that the level has reached maximum or minimum volume.

CHANGING TRACKS
Simply press the “>” or “<” button for 1 second on the stone 1000 to change tracks.

PLAY AND PAUSE
Press the “>ll” on the speaker’s control board to play/pause the music.

MODE SWITCH BUTTON
Press the “M” button to disconnect or connect Bluetooth connection. Press the “M” button to switch modes. (BT, Aux In)

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Unable to pair with a Bluetooth device: check that you do not have an audio cable connected to the Aux in socket. Ensure that you are within range of the wireless Speaker for wireless functionality, 10 meters or less (33 feet or less).
  • Check that the device you are attempting to pair with supports A2DP stereo audio transmission.

Charging

How to charge Rockerz 650?
Use a USB Type C charging cable to charge the earphone through either a laptop or an adaptor.

What to do if the headphone is not charging or if the battery life is low?

  1. Check to see if the Type C charging cable being used is working and are of specification mentioned in the manual.
  2. Check the charging of the headphone by using another Type C charging cable or try using the same Type C charging cable on another device to determine if the charging cable is faulty or not.
  3. Check if the specification (voltage/current) of the charger is correct for the device or not. A 5V, 2A charger should be used to charge the headphone.
  4. Check if the charging is done till the red LED turns completely green on the left earcup of the headphone.
  5. Check if the headphone/battery was not tampered with or exposed to any electrical damage.
  6. Check if the charging port is not clogged with dirt. If so, please clean it with a cotton swab or blow dry it to remove any clogged dirt.
  7. Check if the pin of the Type C charging port is tampered with or damaged or any liquid damage is present or not.
Poor Sound Quality

What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied or not. If applied then change the equalizer setting to standard/normal and then check the sound of the headphone again.
  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (10m) and if there are any obstructions in between the headphone and the media device or not.
  3. Check if the device has issues even after moving it closer to the connected device and removing any obstructions.
  4. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.
  5. Check the sound quality on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices/media players or only on specific ones.
  6. Check to see if the earcups have ear wax accumulated or not. If so, please clean it with cotton swab and mild alcohol, after doing so gently blow dry it from a distance.

What to do if the volume of the headphone automatically changes?

  1. Check if connected media device is having any equalizer settings applied or not. If applied then change the equalizer setting to standard/normal and then check the sound of the headphone again.
  2. Check if the issue is occurring on different media players and in different devices or only in a single device or media player.
  3. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.
  5. Check if the buttons are not stuck between the control board and port. Use a tooth pick to pick out the button to bring it back to position.
Bluetooth Connectivity

How to pair Rockerz 650 with other media devices?

  1. When switched OFF, press & hold the MFB (multifunction button) for 3 seconds to switch ON the earphones. The earphone will automatically enter the pairing mode with a prompt.
  2. Open Bluetooth on your device and search for “Rockerz 650” in the list of available devices.
  3. Choose “Rockerz 650” from the list and if asked then enter the pairing password ‘0000’ to establish Bluetooth connectivity. Once confirmed, the headphone and the phone are connected via Bluetooth.

Note: If there’s a connection history between the phone and the headphone, then they will automatically get reconnected in a working range.

How to activate dual pairing in Rockerz 650?

  1. To connect Rockerz 650 to two devices simultaneously, first connect the earphone to one of the devices. Then switch OFF both the earphone and the device.
  2. Now connect the earphone to the second device and again switch the first device ON. The earphone will get connected to both the devices.
  3. IF not connected, then connect the first device manually once again to activate dual pairing.

What to do if the headphone is not connecting via Bluetooth?

  1. Check if the issue is occurring on different media players and in different devices or only in a single device or media player.
  2. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.
  4. Check if the buttons are not stuck between the control board and port. Use a tooth pick to pick out the button to bring it back to position.

What to do if the headphone is not able to dual pair?

  1. Check to pair the Rockerz 650 to first phone per usual pairing procedure, then switch it off. Then switch ON the earphone again and enter pairing mode, enable Bluetooth function in second phone, find earphone’s Pairing Name “Rockerz 650’” and pair to second phone per usual procedure.
    Switch off earphone one more time. Then simply switch on earphone, without entering pairing mode (a short press until white light comes on). The earphone should automatically re-connect to the last connected phone (which is the second phone). Then find headset “Rockerz 650″ in first phone’s Bluetooth setting, select this to pair to first phone. Both phones should now be paired to the earphone.
  2. Check to try dual pairing with other devices to see if it works with them.

  2. Open Bluetooth on your device and search for ‘Rockerz 205 Pro’ in the list of available devices.

  4. Once successfully connected, the blue LED flashes twice in every 4 seconds to indicate the same.

How can I charge the earbuds?

Step 1: Please insert the earbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation.

Step 2: A green LED will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged the LED turns into blue.
Step 3: Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power

​How to charge the case?

​1. To charge the case, plug in the USB cable and connect it to any USB port.
2. The circle LED will flash red when on charging, after it is completely charged red light will go off.
3. It will take 1.5 hrs to completely charge.
4. The earbuds can be charged a total of 3 times if the case is at full battery.

Warning: please do not charge the carrying case with “9V” or “12V” output.
Otherwise, it may cause damage to the case.

What to do if charging case is not charging?

  1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.
  2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

What to do if earbuds are not charging?

  1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds
  2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
  3. Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector place on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again
  4. After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

  6. Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

  1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.

  3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.
  4. Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.

Our IWP™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) Technology enables the earbuds to power on automatically, get connected and enter into the connection mode. OR Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 3 seconds to manually power on the earbuds.

Step2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode. Once the earbuds are powered on Red and Blue LED will indicate the same.

Smart Power Off:
Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears
Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation
Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode)

​Manual Power Off:

Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbud for 8 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.
Step 2. Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

How do I factory reset my earbud?

​1. Ensure the earbuds are inside the case.
2. Long press the CTC for 10 seconds while the earbuds are inside, and wait till purple and red led flashes.
3. Take out earbuds out of the charging case, and wait for blue led to ash.
4. Proceed to put the earbuds back again in the case.
5. Red led should ignite, indicating that it is charging.

Congratulations, factory reset is completed.

How can I use a single earbud (Mono mode) at a time?
STEP 1: At this stage your earbuds are in stereo mode & connected to your Bluetooth device.
STEP 2: Simply remove right or left earbud from your ear.
STEP 3: Place the right or left Earbud back into the Charging Case.
STEP 4: Congratulations, you are now using mono/solo mode.

Note: There is no Master Earbud.
To switch to stereo mode, simply take the earbud (L/R) out of the case & place it in your ear. The earbud will automatically power on & pair with each other hence enabling it for stereo usage.

How to activate Voice Assistant in Airdopes 381?
Press the CTC on either earbud for 3 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

How to answer/end calls in Airdopes 381?

Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once
again to hang up an ongoing call.

Poor Sound Quality

What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.
  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.
  4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.
  5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.
  6. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.
  7. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

Bluetooth Connectivity

What to do if device not connecting via Bluetooth?

  1. Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicating that by alternating green and red LED flashes on either earbud.
  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.
  3. Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections or not.
  4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.
  5. Check if the device being connected to does have any software issues or not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

What to do if device not entering stereo mode / stuck in mono?

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.
  2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.
  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.
  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.
  5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

What to do if device occasionally disconnects/ the right earbud keeps disconnecting?
1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.
3. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.
4. Try factory-resetting the device.

Why one side of my earbud not working?
​Simply the earbuds back in to the case and take them out or perform the factory reset.

Dysfunctional Voice Assistant

What to do if the voice assistant does not wake up?

  • Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.
  • Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google
  • Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device.Though under some circumstance, this feature may or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.
Product Functionality

What to do if device does not turn ON?
1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.
3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.
4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

What to do if the in-built controls (CTC) of the device are not working?
1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device.
2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players.
3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.
4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

What to do if Insta Wake & Pair (IWP) is not working for my Airdopes?
1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.
2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.
3. Try factory-resetting the device.
4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has battery in it to have IWP functioning.

Microphone Functionality

What to do if voice is muffled during calls/ Microphone has muffled input?

  • Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
  • Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.
  • Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.
  • Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

What is Insta Wake N’ Pair (IWP) technology?
Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

How to enable IWP for my earbuds?
There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

Does the Airdopes 381 support aptX codec by Qualcomm?
