Measure Forehead Temperature

1. With the probe cover attached, point the thermometer at the center of the forehead.
2. Move the thermometer towards the forehead until the probe cover touches the skin. Press and release the Head button. The temperature will be displayed on the screen instantly.
3. Gently remove the probe cover to reveal the ear probe.
4. Insert the ear probe into the ear canal
5. Press and release the Ear button. The temperature will be displayed on the screen instantly

Attention

• Clean the ear canal before measuring the temperature
• Children aged l year to adult: Pull ear back & up to make sure the ear canal is straight, aim at the eardrum
• *The temperature value measured by forehead may differ from the value measured by ear, that’s reasonable.
• After measuring the ear temperature, be sure to clean the sensor of the temperature probe in time, and pay attention to the use of skimmed cotton swab to clean. If it is difficult to clean, can be dipped in a little alcohol to clean.
  After cleaning, leave it more than 15 minutes before use. As the probe is not waterproof, do not let the liquid penetrate into the probe.

C/° F Conversion

When the screen is off, press and hold the Ear button for 6-9 seconds. The LCD will display “- – – “with “M” at the bottom right.

Continue to hold the button until”- – – C/°F” appears on the screen. Release the Ear button and the ” – – – ‘C/’F” temperature unit will start to blink. Press the Ear button
again within 5 seconds to change the temperature unit to your choice.

Recalling Recorded Data

1. When the screen is off. Press and hold the Ear button for 3-6 seconds and the LCD will display”- – -” with the “M” signal blinking.
2. Press the Ear button again and the LCD will display the number ‘1’ with the M signal. After 1 second, the recorded reading with the mode of measurement icon will be displayed.

Note that this is the latest recorded reading. To recall the next recorded reading, press the “Ear” button again. The number ‘2’ with the M signal will be displayed. After
1 second, the recorded reading with the mode of measurement icon will be displayed. Repeat to recall earlier recorded data (up to20 total readings)
