Battery Precautions

  1. WARNING: Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type of batteries.
  2. Only use the specified size and type of batteries for this product.
  3. If the product will not be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
  4. Do not try to recharge a battery not intended to be recharged–this can lead to overheating and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions.)
  5. Promptly remove batteries if consumed.

Care & Maintenance

  • To preserve battery life, turn off the microphone when not in use. ·
  • To prevent interference, do not hold the microphone too close to the karaoke machine speakers.
  • The optimal distance of the wireless microphone is 30 meters (approx. 98 feet) from the karaoke machine speakers.
  • Microphone wireless range and sound quality might be affected by low battery.
  • Fully charge the karaoke machines before storing for a long period.
  • The SD card can only be inserted in one direction. Do not force the SD card into the slot. If the card does not insert in easily, remove it, and try another direction.
  • Select either USB mode or SD card mode to play music; both · modes can not be used simultaneously.
  • To maintain peak performance and prevent battery issues, fully charge
  • The karaoke machine at least once every three months.

Remote Control

  1. Power
    Places machine into power saving (standby) mode. Does not power the machine
  2. Mode
    Switch between music modes (AUX / Bluetooth / FM / SD / USB)
  3. Numeric keypad
    Select a song when on USB or SD mode or to set FM channel when on FM Mode
  4. Mute
    Mutes the music (but does not stop it)
  5. Scan
    Browse saved FM channels using the buttons
  6. EQ
    Choose from five pre-set EQ modes
  7. REP (Repeat)
    Click to enable/disable current track repeating (Works on USB & SD card modes only)
  8. Previous
    Go back to the previous track or previous FM channel
  9. Next
    Go forward to the next track or next FM channel
  10. Play / Pause
    To pause/play music playing or begin FM scan to store local FM channels
  11. Volume Up
    To increase the volume

Turn knob to adjust the speaker volume

12 Echo Volume
Adjust the microphones echo effect

13 MIC Volume
Adjust the microphones volume

14 MIC Priority
Use this button to lower the music and prioritise the microphone sound. Prioritising will stay in effect till the button is clicked again.
15 Master Equalizer (EQ)
16 Car Hardwired Power Supply
Power the karaoke machine via your car’s battery by hardwiring a 12V power cable from the karaoke machine to your car’s battery.

Control Panel

  1. Power ON/OFF
    • Power with Disco: Press the left side of the toggle-switch to turn on the karaoke machine and disco ball.
    • Power with no disco: Press the right side of the toggle-switch to turn on the karaoke machine only (no disco ball).
    • Power off: Return the toggleswitch to the middle position to turn off both the karaoke machine and disco ball.
  2. Power input
    Use the included 12v DC plug to charge the machine battery.
  3. Charging Indicator
    A red light indicates the battery is charging. A green light indicates the battery is fully charged.
  4. Music modes 
    There are 5 modes to choose from:

    • Line-in mode: Use included cable (AUX or Audio to AUX) to connect the karaoke machine to your device or T.V.
    • Bluetooth mode: Connect your device via the bluetooth on your phone’s settings to the machine.
    • FM mode: To play music from FM radio stations.
    • USB mode: Insert USB to access this mode to play stored music from a USB flash drive.
    • SD card: Insert SD card to access this mode To play stored music from a SD card.

Get Started

The Amasing Karaoke Machine is easy and fun to use! Just plug, play, belt your fave songs… and rock on!

  1. Insert two AA batteries into each microphone. Then turn on the microphone  you will see a green light flash once. The microphone is ready to use.
  2. Plug the 12V DC plug into the front of the machine and the other end into a wall outlet. The battery light indicator will turn on. Indicating charging in process.
  3. Allow for an initial 8 hour charge before using for the first time. Subsequent charges will only require 5 hours for a full charge.
  4. Select the mode of your choice and begin playing music while singing into the microphones.
  5. Enjoy an amazing time with your brand new amasing karaoke machine.

Machine

How to charge the machine

Connect the USB charger plug or a compatible micro-USB cord into the machine and to a polarized outlet. Be sure to charge fully before each use. The indicator light will turn on to indicate charging.

How to turn the machine on/off

Twist the On/Off knob to the right to turn the machine on. To turn it off, twist the same knob all the way to the left.

The LED lights and Bluetooth will automatically be turned on when the machine is.

Please note: The On/Off knob also controls the machine’s volume level.

How to turn LED lights on/off

Press and hold down on the Mode/LED button.

Microphones

How to turn on the microphone

Ensure that the microphone is plugged in properly and that the On/Off on the microphone itself is switched to the On position.

Remember to also turn up the volume for the microphone on the karaoke machine.

Music

How to set up playback

Your machine has 6 different playback options: Bluetooth, SD, AUX, USB, FM, PA. Each has its own hook up location (See the “Contents/ Parts” section above) and set up method (see the “Music” subsection below). See the aforementioned sections for more information on how to set up your preferred playback mode.

To display your song lyrics, you can also place your phone or tablet in the mount provided by easily clipping it onto the front of the machine.

How to connect to Bluetooth

Playing music from your device

This machine will be ready to connect via Bluetooth as soon as you turn it on. To use this feature, simply search for the machine name (“AMASING”) under your playback device’s Bluetooth connection settings and click to connect.

How to use SD mode

Playing music from an SD card

Plug your MicroSD card into the designated slot on the back of the machine. Playback will begin immediately. Use operation instructions in the “Music” subsection below to adjust settings.

How to start AUX mode

Playing music from an AUX-compatible device

Plug the AUX or AUX-RCA cable into the designated slot on the back of the machine to activate AUX mode. Then, plug the other end of the adapter into the designated inputs on your device and play your music just as you normally would.

How to start USB mode

Playing music from a USB drive

Plug a USB stick into the designated slot on the back of the machine. Your music will begin playing automatically. You can also use this slot to charge your phone using a compatible USB cable. Use operation instructions in the “Music” subsection below to adjust settings.

How to connect to FM mode

Playing music from an FM radio station

Click the Mode control button on the function board of the machine until FM appears on the display screen.

Once the FM mode has been activated, press an hold the button for the machine to begin seeking and storing all of your local radio station channels.

After the scanning is complete, switch through the channels by clicking  or to select the radio station of your choice.

How to use PA mode

When there is no music playing, this machine will automatically start PA Mode. Simply use the microphone by ensuring that it is plugged in and turned on. Adjust the microphone’s volume on the machine’s main panel.

How to use TWS to connect another machine

TWS mode allows for more than one Amasing Legato C4 Karaoke Machine to be connected simultaneously. Once you have two of the same models, double click TWS on both machines at the same time and they will link up together automatically to provide double the audio power. TWS will stop working if the machines are approximately 32 feet from each other. To disconnect, double click the TWS button again.

How to use multiple playback modes

To use playback modes interchangeably, simply activate each mode according to the instructions above, then click / to switch between the inputs.

How to connect to an external media source

Playing music from a Phone, MP3 Player, or TV

Plug a compatible Audio to AUX cable into the designated slot on the back of the machine. Then, plug in your preferred compatible device into the other end of the adapter and use the machine as indicated.

How to use the tablet holder

The tablet holder provided comes with a click-in attachment piece that can easily be added to the long collapsible handle on the machine. Hold the tablet mount in place while you click the back piece across the collapsible handle so that it securely clasps down at the height and position you desire. Place your device onto the mount and adjust it accordingly to accommodate the size of your tablet and the angle you want to see it at.

Maintenance

How to clean

Turn the machine and microphone off and unplug all wires.

Gently wipe the outside of the machine using a clean, dry cloth. Keep all vents, buttons, and openings free of lint and dirt. Do not immerse the machine in water and do not use any harsh cleaners.

How to store

Charge the machine so that it’s ready the next time you want to use it.

Make sure that the machine is clean and dry.

Bind the unplugged cord gently with an electrician-approved fastener.

Do not wrap the cord around the machine.

Store the machine in a cool, dry place away from damaging elements.

For best results, clean and store the machine after each use.

How to transport

The Legato C4 was designed intentionally with wheels at the bottom for easy transportation.

Simply unplug all wires and extend the handle on the machine to roll it around just like a suitcase.

Place the microphone in a suitable bag and carry it separately

When things go flat Troubleshooting

Machine will not turn on The battery is depleted. Be sure to charge the machine after each use.
USB or Micro-SD mode will not work Turn off the selected mode, unplug either the USB or Micro-SD, turn it back on, and plug the USB or Micro-SD back in.
Machine is not playing microphone vocals Check that the microphone is properly plugged in to both the karaoke machine and into the microphone itself. Ensure that the On/Off switch on the microphone is turned to ‘On’ and the microphone volume is up on the main machine control panel.

If any of these issues persist or if any part of the machine becomes damaged, discontinue use and consult a licensed electrician for repair. Do not attempt to modify or repair the machine yourself. You can also contact our customer service department (see back cover).
